I have an attached polycarbonate greenhouse to protect succulents, lemon trees, eucalyptus, and aloe plants in the winter, and last year I lost 20 plants during a brutal storm. This year I opted to expand protection to include insulated foil around the pots, and fleece crop covers. Covering plants with plastic in the pacific northwest is a recipe for mold, so breathability was important. It was equally essential for the plants to receive some light on days when it might be impossible to uncover them, while still retaining warmth. According to my greenhouse thermometers, the addition of these blankets made the area surrounding my plants 50 degrees at its coldest point — so mission accomplished. This is a large piece of fabric that covered two 42 inch tables stacked with plants, and full wrapped a eucalyptus tree.     • Protected my plants from a temporary freeze!

I was able to mostly protect my plants from getting a freeze burn - although I did not anticipate the cold on the first day it hit for the fall. This cover was a life saver even though my vine plant got damaged by my lack of planning. The bulbs got spared and the plant is still alive and growing thanks to the cover protecting it from further damage due to freezing night temps! I highly recommend it, I was able to cover all of the plant that was approximately 5ft tall, and I even had some leftover for my other plants. Had a frustrating late October freeze here in Zone 7 with 75 degree weather in the future, so I wasn’t about to give up on the season with so many peppers yet to ripen. I put some metal stakes in my grow backs and used this product like a tent for every plant that would fit underneath it. As the title says, every single plant - peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce - survived under the tent for 3 straight nights of lows between 30 and 32 and are ready to keep on growing & ripening. Unsurprisingly, the few plants that were too tall for the tent died, so I consider this a complete victory. Next time I need some season extension, I’ll be buying this fabric again. ... show more

Once opened, I had to cut this in multiple pieces in order to fit my plants and I still have more left over. It's also a thick fabric that was easy to wrap around my plants and tie down. Hope it protects my plants in the upcoming cold weather.

This is a great frost cover and a great size. I have it on a portion of my 4'x8' raised bed but it would easily cover the whole thing and then some. I mainly got it to keep pests away. I prefer them a little thinner for that purpose but if you're wanting a good frost cover this would be it!
