This is a delightful oil diffuser that creates the illusion of flames and smoke by using LED lights. I've used these diffusers for years but they didn't have lights on them and they just did the diffusion. This one diffuses a lot more oil and has the advantage of being very fun to look at. The case actually has two sides so you can choose which design you want to see and the light is adjustable three ways including a flickering one to make it look more like fire. This is a delightful addition to any room, but I want to give you a little bit of a warning. Any of these diffusers tend to spread oil around them in every direction, so consider that when you decide where to place it. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents because Colorado winters are too dry. They sleep next to it and they kept raving about how much better they slept at night ever since they started using it. I decided to get one for myself and my only regret was not getting one sooner. The humidifier quietly runs all night without needing a refill which is great. I've never slept better during winter time. Worth it, even with the price increase. Edit: one year later and this is still used every night and it still works perfectly! I was so excited to get this but now disappointed that I bought it.. I bought this product on May 20, 2023. I bought my oils, read the instructions, and turned it on. The flame came on and saw the mist coming out but couldn't smell anything. I thought maybe it had to "warm up" so I let it run for an hour and still didn't smell a thing. I thought maybe the scent I picked wasn't strong enough. I tried one oil after another but still cannot smell anything. Days later I bought a different brand of oils. Still can't smell anything. Week 3 still trying different brand oils with no luck. To make matters worse the flame started flickering and beeping as if the power button was being pressed repeatedly. So unfortunately this was an epic fail. Today I went to Walmart and bought a $5 diffuser that isn't aesthetically pleasing but the aroma it diffuse out with my oils is a power house!! ... show more
