I was sent a book that was used and dirty and it wasn’t wrapped in plastic the way new books should be. It’s also ripped and in poor quality!

Beautiful looking book in new physical condition BUT I’m seriously absolutely disgusted with the way this book smells. It has a terrible stench to it that fills up my entire apartment. I was hopeful the smell would go away after a few days but it has not.

This is clearly a used book Amazon is passing off as new. It arrived not wrapped in cellophane, dings all over the hardcover, scuffed up like crazy, dust jacket ripped, and the gold leaf stamping (or whatever material it is) on the V is coming off and onto the book around it. Returning and buying from a different vendor. So just a heads up if you’re buying from Amazon. The book itself is amazing. Stunning images, great copy. Very inspired.
