This the second camp mattress loke this that we have gotten. This one is even better!!! You will be out in the forest getting your best night sleep. It is so thick and comfortable that it is like you are sleeping on a cloud. You can adjust the firmness with how much you inflate it. It is mostly self inflating but you do have to finish it off with a few pumps of air. I will warn you it is on thr bulky size but I think it is worth the space in the car. After doing a lot of research,( trying to find something that would fit on top of our pop-up camper bed), and able to accommodate 2 heavier adults. I decided to give this a try. I did purchase a portable blower-upper n deflator. Without that I don’t know how well it would’ve inflated. But with it, it is nice and thick and cushy and then enabled me to deflated and roll it to almost back to its packed size lol ... show more

We normally use a foam pad for camping but needed something more portable so decided to give this a shot. Super comfortable. The self inflating feature works great. Does not deflate on its own! I recommend getting the lost horizon pump they offer. You will need it to deflate. It also is rechargeable with a light and usb port which is nice. It does take up quite a bit of space and is kind of heavy. Good middle ground for portability while still being a really comfy bed for two. ... show more

Really great. comfortable, lightweight to carry and easy to inflate / deflate even with a 3rd party USB inflator. Only downside is that it does come quite compact but you'll never get it that compact again when deflating it. It ends up being decently big and while light enough to carry with one hand as a male adult, it takes up about as much space as a large suitcase in a car when packed. Love how comfortable and easy to inflate but omg it took 40 min and a lot of sweat to get it to deflate and ended up so much bigger than the way it came. Thankful the bag is extra big. It’s so perfect for tent camping! It’s also kind of heavy mattress when inflated. But that’s why it’s so comfortable. Would have given 5 stars if not for bulkyness & difficulty deflating. I called the company because I could not deflate it properly. They sent me their small pump/deflater which is amazing! Took about 10 min to get the air out and used my rolling pin to help. See pic above of pump and how I rolled it. This is a twin size. If you want to sleep well w no backaches this is worth the deflating time but you must have this pump or forget it. It’s very powerful and has a flashlight. Rechargable too! ... show more

Broke down and purchased two of these for our roof top tent. The pads that are provided in these kind of tents usually needs an upgrade. These pads are WAY more comfortable than what was in the tent before. They barely fit, but they do (using two of the singles, so we can each adjust how much air we want). Inflation is pretty good on it's own, but we have a 12v inflater that we use, and that helps. It REALLY helps deflating them. I can't fold up the tent without deflating them. Seem to be fairly rugged and tough, so not too worried about punctures/leaks, but I have a kit to fix them if they do. ... show more

This mattress is awesome. I don’t usually take time to write reviews but this thing is amazing. It inflates on its own so there is no need to need to drag a pump with you. Just flip the valve and wait about 10 min if that and that’s it. Well constructed and extremely comfortable. No need to worry about air leaks because it’s filled with foam, been there done that. This will absolutely enhance your comfort in a tent. Well worth the cost. ... show more

    • Just what I wanted, but kind of wish I had gotten the double now.

I have a lot of time and experience outdoors from backpacking using minimal or no sleeping pad depending on the terrain and weather to trying a bunch of different name brands (Nemo, REI, etc). This definitely is not for back packing. It is for car camping, meaning drive to the spot and maybe hike a quarter mile at most, my campsite this weekend was 100 feet from my car. Having said that, it is quite big and has a bit of weight but not horrible. I opted for the manual inflation/deflation but may opt for the pump down the road. Inflation was a breeze with the bag provided, took maybe 2 minutes. I tried the self inflation mode but got impatient after finishing up setting up most of camp 15 minutes later. I will say the self inflation mode will work much better the second time you use it. Comfort was amazing. I can honestly say I slept almost as good as I do in my own bed. Normally after a camping trip I'm so exhausted from poor sleep the I need a day to recover, not the case this time. Deflation and storage- definitely takes a bit more effort than I had anticipated but not horrible. I did a tri-fold opened the valve got a lot of air out put the valve on deflate mode then squished out as much air as I could, rolled it up rinse and repeat about 3 times. (this is why I am thinking of getting the pump at some point. I had a big double from another camping company and put this up there with comfort, higher in set up. I really didn't want to spend $300-500 so when I read the reviews on this one I decided to give it a try and I was impressed and very satisfied with my purchase and the price. I highly recommend this for comfort camping, very wide, very long, and super comfy. I bought a second for my son. ... show more
