I only ordered a pair of plug-in computer headphones on Amazon because the ones I used at the time broke beyond repair and I didn't want to wait until I was able to make it to a physical store to replace them. Originally I noticed the black version of these only cost like $14 and it had a high star rating, plus it was one of the first results for plug-in over-ear headphones I saw, so I decided to buy them-and then I noticed that I could get them in ORANGE, which is one of my favorite colors partially because it's unpopular and considered unmatchable enough that you really don't too often see stuff come in orange compared to how often you see stuff come in like, black or even pink, especially not tech stuff. I'm very often a sucker for the less popular things. So I happily paid like $17 for these in orange and ordered them. They arrived at my house only 2 or 3 days later, in perfect condition, and it was very easy for me to unwrap them, plug them into my computer, and start listening away anywhere I wanted. As stated in my headline, I'm really not an expert on headphones or sound quality/engineering, but as far as I've noticed these are a good pair, sound quality-wise. They also respond very well to me adjusting the volume of my computer. Also, at least so far, they have a nice, long cord that doesn't bunch up or anything, which allows me to every easily recline in my chair while using them. The only reason I've given these 4 stars instead of 5 is because, at least for me anyway, the headphones are small enough that while they do generally encapsulate my ears and effectively block sound from getting in or out of them, they sit funny on and press on the top of my ears in a way that makes them genuinely uncomfortable to wear for more than like 30-45 minutes at a time-no more marathon computer headphone sessions for me as long as these are my main pair, I guess. Overall, I think these are a great pair of headphones for both their price and how easy it was to get them as quickly as I did off Amazon, especially if you're NOT someone who regularly/often needs to be wearing headphones for more than an hour at a stretch. ... show more

Purchased this so I could use it while playing my guitar without disturbing anyone. The sound is ok but it's a little muffled? I thought it might be cuz I plugged into an amp but also plugged it into my macbook listened to spotify and it was the same. There's no distortion or anything. I guess my ears were expecting better. But again, its under $30 so it is what it is. Noise cancellation fairly good. In a quiet room with AC running I couldn't hear much. Not sure how well it would do outside if I was on the street tho. Basically these are just gonna stay home for the purpose I bought them for. I went with the purple just cuz it looks cool. Overall, the build feels pretty sturdy. Not cheap or doesn't feel like a toy. I've seen other reviews on them breaking but again if you are just gonna keep them at home and treat it with respect I think they will last a long time. ... show more

These have great comfort on the ears, even if wearing for prolonged periods of time. The sound quality is good enough. I would say above average. One really annoying thing about these is that the cord twists up at multiple spots if you have any kind of distance from the jack to your ears. In my case, from my desktop pc jack on my desk to my ears. With the twisting, the cord can really get in the way when trying to multitask. For example, listening and eating a bowl of soup. I would have to use every inch of the cord to get it out of the way of my face when eating. And once the twisting starts, there is no fixing it. At least with normal office supplies. For the price, these seem great for someone using them with some sort of portable device where the cord can be coiled up like one other reviewer's picture shows. For, me I am looking for a wired replacement. I got two plus good years out of them before I just could not take it anymore. And that was with part time use alternating between them, a bluetooth set, and the desktop speakers. ... show more

These are good low cost headphones that I use for video production events to test the audio system quality. They block off enough of the background sound and i can isolate each channel fir gain ans volume. Yet they don't cost an arm and a leg and i dont worry about them getting stolen on set so much.
