I can still hear people around me to have conversation but the in-arena sound is muffled. I got these because I work in a very loud environment and had heard about these. They reduce sound great and fit comfortably in my ear with a bunch of different sizes to fit in your ear. they’re very subtle but cute. Only problem is that they don’t block out high frequencies at certain angles I won’t hear them but at others the high pitch noises still seep through. I had so much anxiety about going to a concert for NYE since I developed tinnitus months earlier. I tried out 3 different brands and Loop was an absolute lifesaver. There is a definite difference in noise reduction. It is easy to insert, discreet, and so comfortable to wear the entire night at the show. I could still hold a conversation with the group of people I went with, dance and enjoy the music. Absolutely amazing. I bought these to wear to Taylor Swift because I knew it was going to be one of the loudest arena shows I’ve been to and my millennials ears are already blown. They did the trick and exceed expectations. When I had them in I could actually hear her better than without. They don’t cancel out the bass or the music and singing, just the “loud” and extra background noises. The loop design was suspect to me at first however it makes for a quick and easy in/out. You may say they are a bit pricey but honesty, for how well they work, they are worth every penny. I love the cute little carrying case they come in with the loop to attach to your keys. This product is great value for cost. I have tinnitus and attend Broadway shows, NFL games, concerts, etc. Purchased these to help with sound volume and eliminate ringing in ear. Work great. Used last night for first time at a theatre production, and I could hear the show perfectly. It is a little difficult to hear someone standing close by to talk to you, but just take one out if necessary. It comes with two sets of "plugs" one large and one small.
