I was quite skeptical of the design since the legs looked like it would give in, and when it arrived, there were already dents that probably came from shipping. It took me about 3 hours because there were some parts in the instructions that confused me, plus it was quite heavy. Best to have someone else help with lifting and aligning. The surface does scratch and smudge easily but it handles water spills well. Once I was done building, honestly I was really proud of how it turned out. Loved the way it looked. I kind of don’t like having an open back underneath the monitor stand since the items will fall if it’s not hugging against the wall, but that can be fixed. This desk has been a great addition to my workspace providing ample room for my computer, printer and other peripherals like mouse and keyboard. Assembling the desk was super easy with clear instructions and all the necessary tools included. I was able to put it together on my own in less than an hour with slight help. The cable management bag makes it tidy as well after all is done. and best part was the power outlets on top of the desk which even comes with USB ports. So much in love with this new addition to my home office room. And it looks stylish as well, can be doubled as a gaming desk too with the LEDs it comes with. I am now working from home full-time so I have to have an office desk that would fit two monitors and a laptop. I found this desk simple in design that fits my need, but then very effective in all aspects. Having the two monitors on top shelf, it gives good balance in my eyesight and no nick pain plus my laptop at the lower side. Very spacious desk where I can put a notepad, cell phone, calculator, and other office needs. It also has a spot for my tumbler for my coffee. This also includes outlets, lights, and long mouse pad. In terms of assembly, I did this myself in an hour with no problem following the instructions provided. All the holes for the screws fits perfectly. No problem at all installing. The only downside for me with this desk is the shelf under the desk, if you like to scoot up to your desk and would like your chest touching or nearly touching then you will be hitting your knees every single time. so i had to remove the shelf. maybe if it was cut off 2-3 inches then it wouldn't be an issue. other than that the desk is very spacious on top and i'm satisfied. i had to build this desk in a very small space so make sure to make room beforehand. ... show more
