When I ordered this rack and before it arrived I looked at the description page several times. The picture shows five pairs of shoes on each tier, but I knew there was a chance that it wouldn’t work out like that for me. I was right, because I’m only able to get four pairs of my shoes on each tier. Okay, that’s not the worst news of the week, so I can live with that. The rack came in a small box which screamed, “Many small pieces to assemble!” It was about as long as the back of my computer chair. But, thankfully there really weren’t that many small pieces, and assembly was fairly easy. Yay! I probably had the shoe rack together in about 10 or 15 minutes, and that was me moving like a sick turtle on an overcast day. I set this shoe rack on the back wall of my closet, and there’s only two problems. I need “two” more 3-tier shoe racks, one for each side of my closet. Unfortunately, this company doesn’t have this shoe rack with a 28”D. I would love that! This 3-tier rack worked for me, so I’m pleased. I was sent a 2-Tier instead of a 3-Tier. Looks like from the other reviews, that appears to be a common theme. I thought maybe the seller just said it was a 3-Tier and included the floor as one of those, but based on the instructions, I was only sent the materials needed for a 2-Tier shelf. Instead of sending this back to the seller, I'll probably just use it until it breaks because I don't anticipate this lasting very long. Given the quality, I'd say the price is fair. It wiggles a lot after install, and the poles that are connected before going through the fabric come apart easily if moved. The tiers are very close together, so you can't put shoes on this that are larger than traditional sneakers or sandals unless you place them on the very top. If you're looking for a cheap shoe rack to keep some shoes organized in your closet, than this product will do the job. If you need something to last, or need a shoe rack to organize pairs that are constantly interchanged, then look elsewhere. ... show more

Assembly was incredibly easy, and the fabric shelves are very durable and taut so they are able to hold many shoes, even heavy ones, very well. I would not call it a 3 tier shoe rack as the third tier is just the floor underneath the second fabric shelf, it’s really a 2 tier shoe rack. But overall, it's great. Came out looking just like the pictures...easy assembly, strong and durable. If you’re looking for a 2 tier shoe rack I would recommend. ... show more

    • CORRECTION: Two-Tier and Three-Tier Shoe Racks

This is NOT a three-tier shoe rack, rather it is a two-tiers. Just the same, the four-tier rack is actually a three-tier rack. It just so happens that the bottom of these tiered racks has space to store additional shoes and items. The pictures are accurate so you should expect to get what is shown. My hubby placed 10 pairs of size 12 tennis shoes on the two-tier rack and it's holding up pretty good. The shoes are slightly stacked on the rack but that’s not an issue. I’m just surprised that his large shoes fit on there. He also stores a few things underneath the second row, on the floor. We keep this rack in his closet. The quality is okay. It didn’t take long to install and it should hold up for some time. It’s not as flimsy as I thought it looked, but it’s not swankiest shoe rack either. This is a decent shoe rack. One caveat, the 'shelves' are made of fabric. I don't know how long it will hold-up when putting heavy items like boots and work shoes.
