Top Amazon Reviews

  • I Love This Mouse. Just A Few Caveats
Color: Black
This is a review of the Logitech MX Master 3 Advanced Wireless Mouse, black model. ASIN: B07XC2FWD1 Item Model Number: 910-005647 Buying a computer mouse should be straightforward. It's not. Cost, basic technology, comfort, aesthetics, connection, adaptability, speed and ease of use all come into play. First, for the cost conscious, this has the same features as the other Logitech MX3 available in different colors - which makes this a bargain. Second, its movement technology is laser. This is a Class 1 Laser Device. Darkfield is a laser technology adapted by Logitech in 2009 by which a mouse could track on glass. Optical tech cannot do this due to interference from its reflective surface. Optical also typically shows a visible red light: none here. Third. It is the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. Great ergonomics. Its height, curve and slope fit my palm perfectly, allowing my long fingers to lie perfectly at rest. Its top surface tilt to the right is just enough for wrist comfort. The thumb rest, as I am right handed, as well as its width, provides a natural support. Use of the electromagnetic side scroll wheel - as the one on top - was easy and intuitive. Only the two side buttons and that located on the thumb rest were a tad more fiddly - but easily mastered. Fourth. The mouse is aesthetically pleasing. Minimalist with no RBG. The matte black finish contrasts beautifully with its two silver scroll wheels. Side lines to enhance thumb grip. Its weight provides a reassuring heft. Minimal pressure to actuate the main top buttons. And minimal noise in use. Fifth. Wireless connection by 2.4 mHz via a diminutive replaceable USB A receiver- which I prefer, as I have had no latency issues, unlike Bluetooth which is also available. Sixth. Amazing adaptability and flexibility. Across three devices, and operating systems. The control buttons are on the bottom of the mouse where it is less likely I would change device midstream - unlike the Logitech Precision Pro which I also own. The software is mind boggling. Built in profiles for mainstream apps plus actions customizable by gesture. Seemingly inexhaustible. Seventh. Speed. The top button allows switching between ratchet precise scrolling and free wheel spinning. Recognition up to 1000 lines per second. 4000 dpi sensor resolution allows for accuracy. More than adequate for my needs. Finally. Ease of use. I used it right out of the box. Without customization or setting up any profiles. Long battery life. Easy Charging via USB -C. That charge does last - I have not tested the stated 70 day limit. Plug it in, the green light blinks until completely charged. That light changes from green to red only if it needs charging. I highly recommend this model of the Logitech MX 3 mouse. It met all my needs, even those I didn't know I had. I love it. There are a few caveats I should mention. First. I am not sure if the thumb grip and rest are latex or not. Please check with Logitech if you have any latex sensitivity. Two. Those who desire high DPI rates of 16,000 for gaming may not be happy with its performance. Three. Its heft - 141 grams, and height - 124.9 mm - may make it less portable or convenient for some. Four. The Unifying Receiver is incompatible with Bolt. Five. As I noticed when trying to take pictures, it is a dust and lint magnet. ... show more

  • Best Mouse
Color: Black
I bought the 3s first and while it worked it was not bad but the silence of the Buttons kinda disturbed me and the back Button is a bit mushi. So i bought the 3 not the 3s and what can i say. Older technology just works, there is basically no difference and the click the Buttons make is very satisfying but the back Button is mushi as well but i can tolerate that. Not for Gaming though, for that i use the Lightning from Logitech ... show more

  • Wow. That scroll wheel!!!
Color: Black
The scroll wheel on this mouse is awesome. With just the click of the extra button you can have it scroll with notches or smooth scrolling. Even in notches mode, a quick spin will make it do super fast scrolls. The way the scroll wheel performs is enough to make this a great mouse. Then add the side scroll which can be programmed to do a bunch of different things including horizontal scrolls and zooming in/out. The side scroll is way better than scroll wheels with horizontal movement because is scrolls instead of just clicks. Not a cheap mouse but way worth it. I bought a second one for work because I like it so much. The fact that this version (grey market?) is $20 cheaper than the identical one sold here is just icing on the cake. ... show more

  • Perfect Mouse
Color: Black
It is a great mouse, it feels solid and very well-made. I connected it to windows using the usb unify dongle and to two MAC computers using Bluetooth. All three connections were made within seconds. In Windows it prompted to download logitech options+ to customize the buttons. I love it, it is a great mouse. My only complaint is that it is a bit too big for my hands, but is just a tiny bit, and it might be more related to how I was used to holding my old flat mouse. I almost didn't buy it because of the bad reviews. Don't believe any of them. Some people say the wheel does not have a third button, but this is not true. There is a third button under the wheel. Some people also said the mouse seems fake because the wheel makes a sound and another mouse bought in best-buy didn't make the sound. This is also not true. The wheel has two modes, one in which the wheel rotates freely and another in which the wheel rotates in steps. In that user video, one mouse was in free rotation and the other in step rotation, hence the sound it made. The small button close to the wheel controls those modes. The buttons are very well-placed and are fully configurable using logitech options+. I love the thumb resting place and the "hidden" button in it. I thought the horizontal wheel was useless but I was wrong. It is very much useful in large Excel sheets. In general I love it and I am very happy with it. Just waiting for my mx mini kb for delivery. ... show more
