The resistance on these are amazing. I like the design too because the grip pounds is etched on the top of the grip so you can still know what you're working with when you use the sleeve.

This was purchased to replace a hand grip that went up to 50kg (110lbs) that the hand grip part was plastic. I had no problem using it at the maximum for 3-4 times a week for the 2 1/2 years it lasted. It suddenly broke throwing plastic shards everywhere, one just missing an eye. So wanted a replacement that wouldn't fall apart and this one will last the rest of my life and someone else's later as I'm 79. Anyway I've only been able to use the 100lb unit so far as it is stronger than my old one. The hand grip is a little rough as some have complained, but doesn't bother me. ... show more

12/11/2019: The knurling is a bit slippery, even for dry hands, but it's a good product. The tensions seem relatively accurate, but a little weaker. My brother owns a gym that has COCs and they're a bit harder, but not by much. It's the grip I have issues with, but it's nothing you can't overcome. I simply hold the gripper coil with my opposite hand so it won't slip. 12/30/2019: Update: I purchased some tennis grip wrap from Amazon and wrapped the handles and it's much better now. I also tried the 1.5 COC at the gym and it is definitely harder than this brands 150 pounder. It's equivalent to the 200 pounder of this brand. I will say that I've only had these for about two weeks and my grip is already improved. Keeping in mind that I'm a 56 year old, 45 year weight trainer who has benched 405 pounds naturally and these things still present quite a challenge for even the strongest of guys. I couldn't even do the 150 pounder when I got these, but persistence has definitely paid off. I can now do it for 40+ reps and can also do the 200 pounder. Also keep in mind that my quick gain is due to decades of strength training that has afforded me some good muscle memory, therefore my progress will probably more advanced than someone who doesn't train regularly like me.
