Love all the options this kit provides. Especially love that there’s chop sticks and a steak knife since a butter knife doesn’t do a great job when I eat steak for lunch. This has evrything you need for a low cost and considering it’s stainless steel that’s a plus. The black color has maintained over the year and of course it’s easy to clean since it goes straight into the dish washer.     • Compact and thin!
I bought this set for my semi truck, because I wanted pretty silverware. The knife is very sharp, works well. I was able to fill the shakers easily and the straps are sturdy and keep everything in place, despite any rough roads I may be on. The case is thin and stays zipped and stays clean too.

Pros: I do love this set. It is beautifully made of Stainless Steel. It is great to have a butter knife and a steak knife in the kit. Also I love the teaspoon and tablespoon. The 2 straws are easy to clean with the included brush. Cons: The chopsticks are so smooth that I cannot hold them without them slipping in my hands. They are totally useless and shorter than normal so you can't replace them with other chopsticks unless you cut them down to fit in the case. I wish they had knurled them or otherwise made then non-slip. The other issue is the 2 little seasoning shakers. The shaker lids won't stay on. You can end up with a plate full of seasoning if you tried to use them as shakers. Bottom line: It is a great kit for the price and very handy. If you really want chopsticks and shakers, look elsewhere. I can provisionally recommend this. ... show more

I really like this well-designed utensil kit. Main features: - The flatware is smooth and comfortable to hold, and the butter knife has a serrated edge, which I wasn't expecting. Two sizes of spoons is a nice touch. -The steak knife is sharp and has a full-tang handle. - The metal straw with optional silicone tip is cool; I like how the kit includes a cleaning brush for it. - Metal chopsticks, very cool. - The salt and pepper shakers are well-designed in that they have not only external screw-on caps but also flip-up lids covering the holes. Great design. - Everything folds up into a compact case. This kit is great for so many applications- car, briefcase, emergency kit, camping, etc. I highly recommend this kit. Easily one of the best travel silverware sets I've seen. The case is great and sturdy. I've had them for over a year, and use them for the majority of my week (at work.) It contains almost every utensil I could need on a given day. Personally, the steak knife is a little over-the-top for me. But I like having the option. I don't really use the spice containers either, since I have salt and pepper at work already. But I could see myself putting some paprika or something in one, if needed in a pinch. They've been through the dishwasher regularly, and I have yet to notice any chipping. I've since bought a second set, so that I can switch them out when I bring one home to be washed. ... show more
