Comes folded up vaccuum sealed and I just opened it and laid it out, it does not have much padding but it gets the job of removing cold floors in the winter time which what I needed. This is a great rug for the price. I paid under $50. It is very soft. It does not have a hard backing so I will likely add some carpet tape to make sure it stays flat when people walk on it or I vacuum it. You have to let it fluff up a bit as it is vacuum sealed on arrival, just shake it out and give it a day or two. ... show more

The carpet itself is nice but i feel like we got a used product some how. The shag is very thick, this hides the dangerous side of this carpet and why I believe we received a used product. After vacuuming twice we have noticed clumps of what seem to be dirt stuck deep into the shag, the shag hides it and actually comes up when you pull on these dirt balls as well as pieces of what we assume are glass deeply embedded into the rug, we have been able to remove plenty at first i thought it was one spot and not a big deal but the more we vaccum the rug the more we find this dirt ball substance through out it. I would not feel safe having a baby on this product as the images suggest due to these findings. ... show more

This rug was nice and soft and looked really good but if you try to vacuum or clean it, it basically falls apart. The vacuum will get stuck every few seconds when you try to vacuum it, but the fibers will also come up with the brush and clog your brush. Scrubbing and other types of cleaning do the same thing, the fibers just come off. Only recommend if you have no animals and never plan on getting any type of debris in it. ... show more

Okay, so some of the reviews I read were not good. I was apprehensive. But it was on flash sale for $40. So I thought what do I have to lose. I bought some rug tape, to make sure it didn't roll up. I laid out the rug and no rolling at all. It's really thick and soft. It feels like a memory foam underneath. I am so happy I took the chance. I wish it came in solid colors because I would buy one for every room in the house. My only complaint, the smell. It smelled awful when it came out of the package. I don't know if it was the plastic or what. But I rolled it up and put it in the dryer with a lot of dryer sheets. Now I smell nothing. But for a beautiful, thick, large area rug for $40 I would definitely buy again! I can't say enough how much I love this rug! ... show more
