so, I bought this on a whim thinking that it might work. I have tried so many things to groom our dogs, but this is far and beyond anything that I've bought before. there's almost no mess, and it's so easy. I don't have to clean the razor off every 5 seconds because it all goes in the vacuum. we have three poodles and it took us about 1/10 of the time that it normally takes us to groom them. this is going to save me thousands of hours and thousands of dollars. and you can even use the vacuum attachments to clean up afterwards any stray hairs that still remain. this is great for the car. this is great for my office. this is great for so many other places other than just grooming the dogs. The only thing I would say could improve is the receptacle filter gets clogged up before the vacuum is full sometimes and you have to empty it early. but it's still an amazing device and the circular motion does a pretty good job of keeping it from being clogged up with hair. look at how cute and happy and naked my dogs are after grooming!! ... show more

This groomer is wonderful. I use the first mode(less power but less noise) and 3 out of my 4 cats are fine with it. It's a wonderful product. Now I don't need to clean up the mass after shaving or combing. It just collects fur after you groom your pet. After using it for 3 times I can say it's safe for my pet's and it's very easy to clean the dust bin. Highly recommend this product. It's a live saver! ... show more

I have often taken my Australian labradoodle to get groomed or either done it myself. It costs almost $200 to groom her at the groomer and at home it takes 4 hours for an entire groom and bath. Terribly hard and the mess, man! Well this was a life changer. I enjoy grooming her again!! So easy and she looks beautiful! The only con is that the bin where the hair goes is kinda small. It had been 6 weeks since a groom for her and I had to dump it twice during the groom. That’s one 55lb dog body only (not head) hair filled it twice and a half. So yeah. The suction becomes less when it’s super full too. It is really great though that the shaver doesn’t get clogged if your dog has cottony or curly hair bevausw it’s constantly sucking it up. So that is SO nice. That’s the major benefit. The mess is so much less. Like so much. Some gets out but you just suck it up with the open vacuum end. No big deal!! Love it! If you are super into grooming you can’t quite do the entire dog with this. I really just use it to shave the bulk off her body. For her head ears feet and tail I have to use scissors which is normal so it’s all good! Really love this. Only took me two hours to do her entire self! Love that!! ... show more

I was concerned that my dog would be scared of this. I introduced it slowly with blush then I turned the power on, he loves to be brushed, he lays there and lets me brush him. I was actually able to trim some of the hair off the bottom of his feet, hopefully in time he'll let me trim the hair between the pads.This is awesome! ... show more

Fabulous for long hair between paws as vacuum action pulls it up and out. We use on both our dogs, a shihtzu/Lhasa mix and a German pointer mix (keeping her short reduces shedding during summer). I have a dog that is 1/2 German Shepherd and 1/2 Chocolate Labrador and she sheds like a Husky! Some parts of the year are worse than others but it’s a constant thing that I previously found next to impossible to keep up with the brushing and the hair would go everywhere. She also wasn’t particularly a fan of being brushed. Not true with this pet grooming vacuum though! She actually LIKES it when I use this on her and it is so, so easy. And hair isn’t going everywhere or sticking to me as I do it. It’s fast, easy to dispense the canister when it starts to get full, oh and I don’t find it really loud which is another plus. It has a mellowness to its decibels and isn’t harsh. I highly recommend this machine. I don’t use the clippers as I don’t need to with my breed, but I imagine that part of this vacuum unit would work quite well as well. Just buy one. You won’t regret it. ... show more

I am a first time poodle owner. I’ve wanted to groom my puppy for some time but was nervous about buying clippers - especially ones that remind you of Wayne’s World, “Wow, that really does suck!”. But a friend bought it and so I figured I’d try. It’s super easy to use, the only problem I had was keeping Archie sitting - highly suggest peanut butter! I am not 100% done but really wanted to try it out. I emptied the canister out three times and it held a lot of hair. It is quiet and didn’t frighten my dog.
