The regular airpods is quite slippery, this silicone protective case is awesome since it provides some additional grip and comfort against minor drops. I also like how it acts as a differentiator among all of the other airpods. It does the job and was $5, can't complain too much!

I received Air Pods as a gift and then bought one of these case covers. The color is nice & bright and it fits nice and snug on the case. The thin wire ring is a tiny bit flimsy so be careful about how you attach the case to anything.
