This tool is a must-have. Over 9" long means plenty of torgue, and built for the largest hands. Very sharp, very good at cutting cardboard, flower stems, things other scissors have to saw through. Also has fish scaler/zester,, pry head, bottle opener, jar opener. Good solid center nut, comes apart easily at 90°, no nooks or cracks for stuff to build ip. Never was a kitchen shear user, as every pr. I'd see was filthy around the joint. These don't have that problem, as you can take them apart to clean. When disassembled they are no harder to clean than a couple of table/dinner knives. Just remember not to use the blade protectors until the shears are totally dry, for even so-called stainless will rust if sitting in water. I now use kitchen shears, and love this 2-pack. Just wish you had a lefthanded pr. as my spouse is lefthanded. ... show more
