I bought this rug because I have a chihuahua and sometimes she have accidents. This was a good option to clean the mess right away. If you have a spill you can clean it quickly and the rug is not going to absorb it. It might feel wet after you clean it. Is easy to clean in a laundry mat. I got the big one to cover my living room, so it's too big to clean it on my washer. The color looks grate as described and match my sofa covers. The material repels liquid, easy to clean. Fits perfectly on my living room. Is so comfortable on you feet, it feels so soft. Is slip resistance on floors not on top of another rug as I did. PROS - I do like the colors! Stains do not stand out I spilled a small amount of coffee, and it didn't settle in - it beaded up (if you move fast) so it was easy to clean, and no stain was left behind. No smell. It came in a box folded up so I was concerned it wouldn't un-crease, but after a few days it laid flat. CONS - I can't vacuum it. It got sucked up into my vacuum and the vacuum started smoking. We really love the design and feel of this rug - it adds a beautiful touch to our living room! The colors are vibrant, and it's very comfortable underfoot. However, we’ve been disappointed with the quality. The binding is coming apart after just a short time of use, which is frustrating. As always everything made in China is cheap and no where was it state where it was made. Before even taking out of the box the weight didn’t seem that much for a 9 x 12 rug. After taking it out of the box I noticed how thin the rug was. My thoughts were this would easily get caught in the sweeper. Not only that but the thought of elderly people tripping over it as it bunched up on the floor. My recommendation are not to buy this carpet or anything like it. ... show more
