I am editing my original review to 5 stars. while I did have a problem with the original burner, later only to find that it was caused by me using the wrong size psi regulator, and did sent it back to Amazon and got a refund. I can not say enough about this burner and the company that sells it Fine Technology. They contacted me asap expressing concern about the problem with the stove and sent me a replacement. Not only did they send the replacement but followed up a week later to make sure that all was well. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ... show more

In order to switch this over to a propane tank regulator hose, you will need an adapter of some sort. Have fun googling and researching what you will need since there is no mention of any of this in the product description.

This 2 burner gas cooktop is exactly what I needed! I have an electric stove, and one gas eye on my electric grill. I like to fry outdoors, for several reasons. The main reason is that the gas cooks so much quicker, and more evenly, another is the smell of frying can overwhelm a household, and I prefer not to smell as if I work in a diner. I was using the gas burner on the grill, however it is starting to rust, and it doesn't provide the room that I need to fry. This is great! It hooks right up to the propane tank, and does the frying for me, very quickly, and evenly! This particular cooktop can be used as either a drop in or portable. I wish I had gas in my home, but they just don't really offer gas in my area any more. It's a shame, because gas just cooks so much better to me. I would definitely recommend this cooktop, for either use permanent or portable! It is durable and made of high quality stainless steel. Not to mention it looks great.
