This is sturdy enough to seat 3-4 casually, although I would stick with 2 for comfort. I use it for my morning coffee/breakfast nook outdoors and also to take in the sunsets. Also, it is really nice to have an alternate to low tables and chairs when I host parties and Inlove the adjustable height. It is strictly bar height, so don't think you are getting another table. Short version: Yes, I recommend this product. Just be cautious when it is fully extended. This table is sturdy, although a bit heavy for my wife, and folds easily for storage. When fully extended (43" tall) it is solid, although still be careful bumping it with glassware on it. Note: the release to fold the table has a protective cover, which took a few tries before learning the correct way to collapse the table. ... show more

    • Not that most lightweight, but extremely handy folding table
I got this table thinking that I would have some outdoor events this summer and would like to try out a bar height table where my friends could stand around it and share some drinks and conversation. The table itself is quite tall, but it folds up and down very easily using the locking mechanism that is located on the table supports. Its made out of sturdy steel and is powdercoated, so I don't think it will degrade or rust any time soon. The hinges are also very sturdy. I've tried it with my kids who put some drinks on it and were learning on it and it seemed to stay without bending too much. The only downside is that its a larger sized table and I have a problem storing it, but that is my problem. It might work well as a plant table too if you had to get plants higher than a normal table. It has a large base, so its pretty sturdy even when extended to full height. I would recommend it highly as a bar style table for your events! 5 stars! ... show more

This table is pretty solid and the construction seems high quality. The latching mechanism is especially good, and I like that it is protected from accidental release. I found the table to be very useful for drinks and standing while eating on the back porch (BBQ type of activities), and it's really easy to clean, fold, and put away. I would not say it's 'light' as it's at least 15lbs and it's a bit of an awkward shape to carry around. But if you can collapse and tuck it away close to where you intend to use it, it's definitely a winner. ... show more

I'm surprised by how large this table is…, and by how TALL! There are 3 settings for the height: 38”, 41”, & 43”. It would have been nicer if they had given you the option of making it shorter too! It’s much taller than a regular table, so you can’t use regular chairs with it. Aside from that, the table is made well. It opens easily (just pull the top up while keeping your foot on the bottom rail), and closing it is easy too. The little lever works easily to release the height setting. I’ll be putting a tablecloth on it to hide the support frame. Not as functional as it could be (if they had added lower height settings), but all in all an excellent bar table (easy to carry too)! ... show more

Small, light weight and easy to transport. I used it as an additional side table in my patio. Full height when I need more holding surface for my bbq ingredients and sauces.
