I got this table for my first apartment and it fits perfectly. Perfect to use as a desk when I work from home. Took about an hour to put together with just one person, and instructions were clear for the most part. My only complaints are the mechanism that lifts the table top is a little bit wobbly, and that the instructions didn’t tell you what tools you would need - you need flat head and phillips head screwdrivers.     • Nice, but not a quick build and came slightly damaged

So to start this is a really nice unit though would have preferred better instructions and a sturdier press board for the price. One corner of the top lid is almost broke through, lucky I had some epoxy handy to fix it up. This unit took me 2 hours to put together, but I was also alone and using a hand screwdriver. An electric driver would have been a better bet due to number of screws used for this. Aside from those, the instructions aren't as clear as they could be in certain parts so you have to pay attention to the orientation of the holes in each piece or you could get messed up. As for the finished product it's pretty sturdy and the lid works very well. Unit is rather heavy though on hard wood floors I have to put my foot on the base to lift up the lid or close it. As it wants to slide across the floor. Would be better if it came with grips for the base. ... show more

I helped my parents order this for them but they love it! The shipping was extremely fast too, ordered right before the weekend, said it was going to come on Tuesday (still fast) and came on Sunday!!! The table is really nice and perfectly sized. Product was shipped fast and arrived in pretty good condition....a 2" chip on one of the legs, but not visible when assembled. Assembly was straight forward and relatively easy...only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. The product looks good, but it's not sturdy enough for a house with kids.....the lift mechanism does the job if care is taken while raising and lowering the top, but I wouldn't say it's designed for frequent ups and downs. It's a bit flimsy while raised.....great as a work surface if you're just using a laptop or writing but it's probably not strong enough to use as a table for meals. I'll wait to see about the durability of this item....I'll take care when raising and lowering the top, and I'll be very careful regarding spills....I'm not sure how this unit will stand up to liquid. Overall, it's a $100.00 piece of furniture. It's worth the money if you don't expect more. ... show more
