This product is derived from olives from 600yr old trees. Grown, manufactured and packed in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. This product is uncut with any other oils, cold pressed & unfiltered to keep its original taste. Quoted in Saveur Magazine as one of their favorite Lebanese oils. Keep cap closed tight after opening to prevent oxidation, oxygen makes the oil go rancid.

This is really good tasting olive oil. I love great tasting olive oil. I make scrambled eggs every morning with this oil. In salads, it's great for cooking at low heat and from the bottle cold. I had been buying Italian produced oil but found this brand on Amazon and decided to try it. It is very good tasting. Slight grassy, woody taste with no bitter or after taste of any kind. This product has a very very bitter after taste to it and is acidic. It over powers you. Can’t use it. Brand new. I have compare it to others from the region, 400 year old trees high in the mountains, it’s very poor by comparison. Sorry guys, maybe a bad batch or old. I don’t know but it’s horrible. The color of this olive is very bright as it should be. There is, however, a metallic after taste which may be because of the inside of the tin or storage tanks pre packing! Would not buy again.

this is my first order and I am impressed by the quality and taste ...l come from a village in Lebanon where we grow olive trees ..this product has the same taste as the fresh olive oil we get right then from the mill ...it is as green color or thickess , but is the same flavor and taste. It is my favorite so far .if you love to eat raw with lebneh or hummus ..this it .. I recommend it ,and the price is good ... show more

I use only olive and avocado oils to cook with. I go through bottles of each rather quickly so I don’t waste my time purchasing the most expensive of the bunch. As long as my olive oil is extra virgin, I’m trying to get the most oil I can for my money. This was a decent buy and it was actually the first olive oil I’ve tasted that had a real flavor kick.
