I wanted something to plug in over the center of my cabinets where the microwave plugs in, and go to the cabinets on each side. This did the trick. it has a block with 6 contacts, so I was able to route 3 to one side and 3 to the other. The power switch and dimmer is a separate unit that I left off, so it plugs directly to a KASA ALEXA compatible plug, letting me use voice commands to turn off or on the "cabinet lights". Very easy to install with holes in the under part between cabinets, with the plug in the cabinet over the microwave. each light has two small screws to attach. Since I have a long wall, it might have been better if 2 wires were 6 to 10 inches longer (or two short extension pieces), but my wife loves them. I have 10'8" between the two ends. ... show more

Chose this product in part because I needed the wire length to reach some of the 6 location sites in the pantry. Flip side is that I did not need that much wire to reach the other sites. Very pleased with the performance but would have appreciated an option to resect unneeded wire. There is no way to do this. I coiled the excess and placed it up under a shelf. I've learned to ignore it but it does not look professional and I pride myself on careful, neat wiring. ... show more

Lights work well and you can adjust the brightness. They also stay cool and not heat up the cabinet. They did not supply enough cord for the lights to plug into the adapter so I had to place another order so I could plug in the lights on 2 far cabinet’s.

I was planning on putting these on a smart switch to control on and off in a display cabinet. When you put these on a switched outlet, they do not come back on when you flip the switch. you have to also turn the power on the lights for lights to turn on. This is not what I wanted but if you are OK with only using the power button that comes with the lights, then I guess they are pretty good lights. ... show more
