Description

Liqui Moly's Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 is a fully synthetic, premium low- friction engine oil for all-season use in gasoline and diesel engines without diesel particulate filters (DPF). The combination of innovative base oils - based on synthesis technology and the latest additive technology - guarantees an engine oil that reduces oil and fuel consumption and that ensures fast lubrication of the engine. Depending on the manufacturer instructions, oil change intervals of up to 40,000 km are possible. Ideally suited for modern gasoline and diesel engines with multi-valve technology, turbocharger and with or without charge air cooling. Especially suitable where there are long intervals between changes and heavy duty engine requirements. I use this in a deleted Jetta TDI and it works great. If your diesel has a dpf it will not work for you. It quieted down the noises and ticks my engine had from previous owners using mediocre oil and too long between oil changes. It is formulated to reduce metal on metal wear and I believe it protects against that well. Only a few hundred miles after switching to this oil my engine runs smoother and more efficiently. Mpg went up by more than 5%. I emailed liquimoly and asked about which oil they recommended for my car and this is what they said would work best. Paired with a good filter I don’t have any issues with running this oil for long intervals. I've used Liqui Moly stop leak products and other oil additives, but I had never used their oil until recently. I changed the oil in my 2006 BMW 330xi and my wife's 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK-350, converting both to Liqui Moly 2332 Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 engine oil, and I'll never go back to lesser quality motor oils. Liqui Moly oil added 2.9 miles per gallon(MPG) to my car's fuel economy; I went from 22.3 to 25.2 MPG in the BMW. Both automobiles use premium gasoline, so any increase in MPG is very welcomed. I don't know if the MPG increased on the Mercedes, because that vehicle is my wife's daily driver, and she doesn't keep track of what she calls "trivial things". Liqui Moly is a German company, and both of my vehicles are German-made, but I don't think Liqui Moly is just for German vehicles. I also plan to use Liqui Moly 20228 Molygen New Generation 5W30 motor oil in my Ford Fusion at the next oil change. One last benefit that I almost forgot to mention, Liqui Moly oil reduced the BMW's engine idle. Before Liqui Moly, just after startup, the engine idle was around 750 RPM, now it idles at about 650 RPM, and the engine runs quieter now. This stuff is outstanding! ... show more

This is the only oil I use for my 997.2! Not cheap but works great! The seller really needs to do a better job packaging. There is a huge dent in the bottom right corner of the bottle that could have ruptured. Another day or two in a warehouse sortation system and it would have been a real mess.

I always use this for my 2017 bmw x5m (w/ downpipes and tune 700hp) and 2013 VW beetle. I like to use this thicker oil in the bmw since the engine runs hot and it doesn’t burn as bad as 0w-30 that bmw recommend. I have read a lot about what oil to use for bmw s63tu engine (m5,x5m) and folks have had great luck with this oil, even getting these car to run over 180k miles. I change every 5k miles tho not every 10k as bmw recommended. Some people say not to use it cuz it too thick, so do your own research, but i drive the bmw hard and it heats up so I feel better with this. Using in the VW also, which recommends 5w-40. This is pry little over kill for the beetle, but i want the car to last and it has over 100k miles and still not a single problem with the car, also change it every 5k-6k miles. ... show more

Used this on my 2013 Audi Allroad and felt the difference in power. It eliminated the engine noise and I've also noticed that I can hear the turbo a lot better. Absolutely using this oil forever!
