  • I am ZeosPantera and I approve this Message
These are not the Tin T2. These sound wholly different. Narrower and more detailed. I still like how they sound but the wide and neutral sound of the T2 still reigns me in. THAT SAID.... the wire on this is the best in the world. Like seriously. I want it on everything it is so Soft. Lush. Smooth. I also preferred the blue tips to these smaller white ones. Either way still a 5 star set for this price! ... show more

  • Tin T3 - Clean Sound
I only have KZ IEMs to compare to this so please take this review with a grain of salt. Tried the KZ ZST Pro, ZSN, ZS7, AS06. I have a pair of Moondrop Kanas Pro's coming soon so I may update when I get those in. I'm fairly casual/new to the hobby. I'm, using a fiio k3, fiio btr3 or Hidiz Sonata II for my audio sources. Pros: - Best for clarity with Hi-Res .flac files compared to the other's I've listened to. - Cable is top tier, although I've heard from other reviews that quality control is not consistent. - Best stock ear tips I've received. - Packaging simple and clean. (Admittedly I think the T2 & T2 Pro had better packaging, but I still use the T3 box as storage since it has a little window. - A Jack of all trades. - Staging is adequate. - Just enough Bass for balanced, with clarity. I have not tried the tapemod, maybe one of these days but for me there's no need. - Great for mids, highs are good but with too much power (volume) they can get sibilant. If you want bass cannons, don't get these. - My set didn't come with any issues, I very much so appreciate the build quality. Cons: (Keep in mind these are more comparative cons) - Narrower Sound stage then AS06. Staging is still adequate. If you flip the left and right side you may notice an even tighter sound stage. For me it was not pleasant. I prefer wearing them red-right despite the angle change from the t2/t2 pro. - Weaker bass then ZS7 ( not necessarily a con, but if you want something warm this would not be a first req) - For me, not as comfortable to wear. Still able to wear more than 3 hours without a problem. - I'm a treble person but these can be too sibilant for me if I turn the volume too high. Considering the noise isolation is just okay the sibilance/volume combo might not be good for you. If you listen to Another One Bites the Dust by Queen its rather annoying. I usually don't use gain and keep the volume under 50% on my android phone and it avoids this issue. Conclusion: If you are coming from KZ these are a joy out of the box for a balanced freq. response. If I were to improve anything it would be to change the color to completely silver. Cable is still nice but silver or white cable might have been a little more consistent. Also if they could figure out and minimize sibilance at higher volume levels. I would be very interested in comparing the ZS10 Pro's since they are in a similar price range. Different drivers but from what I've read it seems like a good undercutting competitor. Feel free to ask me any specific questions. ... show more

  • Fun to try, ridiculous cable, fair isolation, huge treble blasters.
I'm a pro audio guy thats tried probably 30 IEM's/Chifi headphones over the last few months. If you wan't a beater headphone thats fun grab the CCA C10 instead - its also half the price on aliexpress. If you aren't an audiophile you might try the ZSN too (not the pro) - Its cheap and fun but falls apart under scrutiny fast. Its hard to rate this new wave of headphones. On one hand they drastically improve the potential for power and clarity at the low and high end over previous headphone designs. On the other hand, balance and tuning often suffers wildly. They offer far more bass or clarity than typical drivers but often don't sound better. MASSIVE TREBLE BOOST, its pretty jarring at first but can also be pretty addicting. However, the bass is a mess, the mids are well represented but not too even and the highs are so dominant it will really depend on what you're listening to. The quality of the high end on these made them the only "chifi" headphone to approach pro/name brand IEM quality but only in that range. They were all over the place in critical listening and generally not usable for much. Ok packaging, the elaborate boxes get annoying quickly on these when they routinely send you some fantastic box but don't include a basic case. I like the foam tips they come with and they come with two sizes - they are similar in texture to Complys and they come with a wide range of silicone tips as well. One word of warning, its not immediately clear which bud is the R and L and while I can assume what their color codes probably mean the design isn't exactly telling. I actually had the T2 model on the wrong way for a while (which drastically improved the bass response) before figuring it out. Online pictures generally are mirrored for some reason (impossible to connect them as pictured) so make sure to get them right. If you absolutely need the most treble possible, its hard to beat these. The Mackie MP 240 would also be a good option though they have a recessed (but still present) mid range and a much more present low end. However, at $200 they are hard to recommend as they are poor for critical use and need to be turned up past moderate (85-90db) levels to get any good mid-range, at which point the treble and bass can get overwhelming. ... show more

  • First Pair Of IEMs...and might be the last (and that's a good thing)
After doing research on In Ear Monitors (IEMs) I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about, but wasn't willing to pay a crazy amount of money for them. So I ordered the T3's since they were around $70 or so. Well worth the money as they sound better than any pair of headphones I have ever owned. Not too bassy and not too sibilant either (my ears are very sensitive to sibilance.) As far as the build quality goes, these are very good quality - which is saying something when it comes to Chinese products - and the cable it comes with is also of high quality. Only problem is when to want to remove the connectors from the IEMs it's like trying to pry a toy away from your child. However that might be a good thing as they won't come out while listening to music as some others might. Hopefully these last as long as most of my headphones (I still have a pair from 2010) and will be the only pair of IEMs I ever own. Well see..... ... show more

  • Neutral sound and no hearing fatigue
Sound is neutral without EQ and separation is good. I use iPhone, Radsone ES100 Bluetooth receiver and balanced cable. I feel comfortable and don’t have hearing fatigue. One suggestion is to swap left and right speakers. It avoids edges to press ear lobes.
