  • Hype did not disappoint
Oooh boy. I purchased these as another lower-mid range IEM to add to my quickly growing collection. Mainly picked them up after reading the hype behind them from all of the major reviewers. Not going to lie, I was genuinely concerned before receiving them. I was worried I was getting myself worked up, and that they would fall short of what I was anticipating. So glad I was wrong. Packaging is excellent, though some would consider it maybe a little wasteful. The machined aluminum box it comes with is super nice, even if you struggle to fit the IEMs in them with a better cable. Speaking of the cable, it is fine. Not phenomenal by any means, but it's serviceable. The red accents may be a bit TOO red for some, but it's fine. Ear tips it comes with are good, but I have only had good luck when it comes to fit and sound with the blue ones. The clear ones at a bit too much in the highs for my tastes, and the tall tips do not fit well for me. Build quality is excellent on my pair. Seam is noticeable, but that is to be expected of the metal housing. Despite looking obnoxious, the fit and comfort is fine on these. The driver only really sticks out about what you would expect a standard IEM to, as the circular pattern is largely flat. Now to the fun stuff. These. Sound. Great. I absolutely LOVE what these are doing. Like I mentioned earlier, the sound signature can be affected quite a bit by the ear tips, so all of these comments will reference the blue tips included. I did also try other tips, such as spring tips from Moondrop and SpinFits, and overall would still lean towards the blue ones. Bass is excellent. You definitely get that planar punch and speed, though it is far from overpowering. Mids are relaxed, but still well-detailed. In my opinion, these shine in the upper range. The highs are bright, clear, and there is plenty of airiness. With most of the tips, I find them right at the edge of harsh, but they never really overstep. The blue tips bring this down a bit while keeping nearly all of the detail. Soundstage is a bit middle-of-the-road, but that's to be expected of IEMs in this price range. The technical detail that these can provide is astonishing. They also take EQ like a champ if you want to bring the bass up or draw back the highs. Using Wavelet to give me Crinacle's tuning makes these about perfect for me. These are, by far, my most fun pair of IEMs. Whether I am walking around my house or just lounging in bed, I always find myself going back to these over my other IEMs. They are relatively easy to drive, sound good on most players, are super light, and just... EVERYTHING. I have had a few co-workers try these out, and they are also pretty taken aback by the sound. While some people have had QA issues in the past, my pair had no obvious balancing issues or anything like that. Overall, I am so glad I picked these up. If you like the idea of a planar IEM, just do it. ... show more

  • Wonderful pair of IEM’s
As a person that listens to a wide spectrum of music(pop, hip-hop, jazz, rock, hard rock) I found these to be so fun but yet very settling to listen to. Any music sounds good with those pair of IEM’s. Bass packs a much, yet instruments and the vocals from artists still comes out yet. Don’t think there is any audible audio distortion at all. Great pair of IEM’s. Definitely one of my favorites among many. ... show more

  • Almost perfect for the price
The IEM’s are great, packaging and accessories are A++. The cable… short, like annoying short.

  • Great sound, but made for smaller ears
Sounds great but the factory cable turns too early and hits my earlobe. It also doesn't allow for a deep insertion depth so I have to adjust them more frequently than I'd like. There are many tips but they don't feel good to me, but I prefer foam anyway so I got comply TX400s. No other complaints. I wear these everyday for 8+ hours with no other issues ... show more

  • I love to go to sleep wearing them
Update after 3 months: The base is very punchy and fast. I love to go to sleep wearing them. The disk design prevents them from pressuring your ears when you sleep on your sides. Very comfortable. I am amazed because when I had seen their design initially I thought they would be very uncomfortable. Very satisfied with the sound and the comfort. I highly recommend these. ... show more

  • Clear with good bottom and top frequencies.
I only can compare these to my previous earbuds (which still work), a pair of $ 60 Klipsch. The 7Hz Timeless are more clear - instruments stand out more clearly with very good bass and very good treble frequencies. Mostly listen to music through my cell phone, but when connected to a PC the same file sounds better. The connection to my cell phone (3.5 mm) sometimes needs a slight twist - you can tell when it's not connected well - it sound like mono instead of stereo. Also, there is not real good separation of right and left channel using test tones. Some of the right channel can be heard on the left and vice versa. All that being said, I like the sound and have no desire to go back to using the Klipsch (provided these still work - only had them about 1 month). I basically like these because of the clarity of the instruments. I listen to mostly classical baroque music, but also like ragtime piano and modern electronic/orchestral (think Hans Zimmer - Sherlock Holmes, etc.). No discomfort after wearing for extended periods either as some other reviews have indicated conversely. ... show more

  • Amazing sound quality for the price (and not for the price)
I'm not an audiophile (or at least wasn't until this IEMs), but after buying the Aria and enjoying them deeply decided to upgrade and go to the next level. After some research this IEMs came up as highly recommended and I understand why, they are above and beyond anything I heard before. I'm still not certain how to describe the experience but you can hear everything, and it is so clear it is something else to any headphone/IEM/speaker I ever tried. From my limited knowledge and experience I would highly recommend this IEMs. ... show more

  • New favorite. Good everything
I'm no audiophile but these sound really good. Included cable is great and doesn't tangle that easily. MMXC connection has not gotten loose over the months. Included eartips are also great, they fit my ears well. Very lightweight too. Wish I bought these first!
