Pros Color- as lovely as displayed. Assembly- one person 10-15 minutes. Height- perfect for my 38 inches kitchen counter top. Comfort- Had breakfast sitting on one for approximately 20 minutes. It was pretty comfy. The foot rest cross piece is a bit sharp but nothing to hurt you. Cons Assembly- you will need either spacers or additional washers for a sturdy assembly. Also using the tools in the package of increases the time by 20 mins. I suggest a convertible screwdriver that you can change the tip. Cleanliness - one of the chair was so dirty I had to use soap and warm damp rag to clean followed by leather cleaner wipes. The other two had minimal dust and looked fairly new. CAUTION When screwing the front legs be careful to go slowly as the leg may split if the bolt goes too far. I have a small nick on one of mine because of that. An issue caused by not having a spacer or additional washer. I would recommend this product to a friend. ... show more

I'd return these chairs but it was a pain in the ass to build them so I'm gonna use them until I find something better. They don't feel sturdy, aren't very comfortable and one is wobbly. They match my kitchen perfectly but for $100/chair, you'd expect better quality. Now that I've been sitting on them for two weeks, I see what other people are saying about the padding. I can feel the wood poking the sides of my butt when I sit down. These chairs are lovely but are absolutely not worth $100. They are garbage quality. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have been dreaming about these teal stools since I first discovered them on Ashley Furniture's website 5 months ago. My husband refuses to shop there due to past quality issues we had with a living room outfit. I figured out a clever work-around to purchase 4 of the counter height stools through Amazon (not Ashley). These stools are gorgeous and exactly as pictured, but unfortunately, I am disappointed. Quality Issues: 1 stool had uneven legs -3 same length, 1 shorter which creates a significant wobble (see video). I thought maybe I made a mistake during assembly, so I disassembled it to see if I could correct the issue, but no such luck. Also, its not the floor, I've moved it all around and its clearly from different leg lengths. Another stool, the corner support under the seat arrived damaged/cracked (see picture). I wasn't sure it would even screw in properly, but it did. It seems ok for now, but I am worried about its longevity. This stool also has a slight wobble that I determined to be acceptable. Comfort Issue: The cushion is very soft, and does not have much support to keep your rear from sinking into the frame. As a result, so you can feel the wooden frame supports under the outer edges of the cushion which makes it uncomfortable. I noticed this immediately, and chose to overlook it because I really love the way these stools look. My husband immediately commented that they were uncomfortable for the same reason. I have a larger bottom, and he is very slim so I do not think this comfort issue is because of body type or weight. I also asked an objective girlfriend, who was excited that I was finally ordering the stools, and she said the comfort was disappointing. However, the back support is comfort is great! Assembly Issue: Overall, things went together pretty easily with the allen wrench tool provided. However, there are 4 screws for the bottom support bars that have to be manually screwed into a wood piece that did not have pre-drilled holes. I tried my best with a screwdriver, but I struggled to leverage the strength to manually screw these. Once I got each screw in, I realized the bottom support bars had a gap where it met the other side, because I could not hold the piece properly in place and screw too. Hubby was able to fix with cordless drill, so I'll chalk this one up to my own error and lack of upper body strength. Overall, I am pretty disappointed. But, because I love the color so much, I am looking to see if a local person can re-upholster the cushion to make underneath the fabric more comfortable and fix the wobble. Fixing the stools will probably cost what I've already invested, but I guess the saying is true. You get what you pay for, and these stools were about $90 each. ... show more

Pretty color but that is overshadowed by the huge variance with the length of the feet. We bought 2 chairs. One was off slightly. We took off the nub on the bottom and stuck a Velcro piece on…it’s almost not wobbly. The 2nd chair was off by about 1/4”. Had to go to the toolbox for a shim. Since we bought the chairs, the price has gone up $42….can’t imagine paying over $100 for these chairs. I’d 100% return them at that price. The 2nd chair had been smushed …hoping it smooths out. The wood on the back of the chair looks damaged but it’s just because the wood wasn’t smoothed before they painted it. Not great quality but the color is nice. ... show more

This stool was easy to put together, was a beautiful pop of color to my kitchen but I immediately returned it because it was not comfortable to sit on. There was no support in the cushion. Very disappointed since I loved the look of the stool.

The reviews you are reading here explain it all. The good news: The chairs are lovely, well-designed, and made of hardwood mahogany. The price is great. The bad news: If you order multiple chairs, you WILL be returning at least one, so thank goodness for Amazon's return policy. Quality Control is really poor, to the point my wife and I were opening each box while calculating the odds of receiving a perfect chair. I ordered several, and 40% were perfect. Another 20% had flaws I could live with, like wrinkled corners, small gouges, unpained bottom surfaces on speader bars, or a utility knife blade inside the a plastic bag that surrounded a cushioned part (!) The remaining 40 percent had flaws I couldn't live with, like cracked wood legs, a cracked wood spreader, and visible tears in the fabric. One spreader's crack was complete enough that I could merely bend it to open up a 1/16" crack. All of the cracks were painted over at the factory or hidden in the center heartwood of the leg so as to be unnoticeable to the untrained eye. It makes sense that people are experiencing breakage failures in use. Packaging was good; nothing was damaged in transit. ... show more
