I have been using Linksys routers for some time at home. While not perfect (what is?), they have performed we and reliably. Until I bought the MR6350, previous routers were set up using a PC/web interface. Belkin's latest gen routers require that they be set up using its phone App. Because I was already using the App (Android version) to monitor/control my other routers, I was familiar with its interface. Thus, I thought no big deal. Well, I was wrong. Belkin's Android App is clunky and very limited in how it can be used to control routers. In order to have full control of all of the router's functions, you must log into it from the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi interface using a web browser. However, you cannot log into the router this way until it is first set-up on the App. What a pain. The App touch controls are slow to react, and the ability to control multiple routers with a single App is more time consuming that it should be. Perhaps most folks don't care about or want access to such controls. For those that do, the Android App is a big disappointment. You need a cell phone to set this up which really sucks. I don't have one so I had to borrow one. No port forwarding and can't set different passwords for 2g and 5g. It wouldn't let me set a password and then asked for a password to add the device to something (I don't know what but I think it will be a problem if I have to set up another). I tried every password I ever used in my life and none of them worked. ... show more

I just hooked it up today and my speeds are amazing. The set up was really easy using the Linksys app on phone and it’s not that hard to follow at all! All you Gotta do is just follow directions very simple and easy to follow. The app is convenient and allows you control and monitor your WiFi.

Already had a previous Linksys device and was happy with it. We needed better coverage on the property, including a detached garage. This device was perfect for what we needed - Bridge Mode.
