Got a screw in one of tires that didn’t have enough tread for a tire shop to fix. Bought these as a temporary patch until I can replace the worn tires. Very easy to use, simply pulled out the screw with pliers, inserted one of these plugs, pumped the tire with a compressor, then checked the air pressure numerous times to confirm the plug had sealed the hole. I’m so impressed with how easy these are, needing only a Philips-style screwdriver to insert them, that I’m planning on storing a few of each size in all my vehicles. They will make a good emergency patch, since I keep a small set of tools (pliers and screwdrivers) in the vehicles, plus an emergency air pump. ... show more

    • I drive am 89 chevy 3/4 ton van, not a light weight vehicle, and I carry a lot of tools
I'd like to say only 1 thing, THESE WORK GREAT, thank you, the first one I tried was for a nail hole, I moved the van to get the tire so the nail was visible, I have a little black and decker screw gun not powerful but faster then turning a screw driver, I clipped vise grips to nail yanked it out, Our rushed through hole,I placed plug in place over hole ,squeezed trigger and it spun right in.a few threads in, I stepped, listened,couldn't hear anything squirted a little windex and found a small leak still bubbling.i turned it in 2 more threads, sprayed again,voila no leak. Now I confess it seemed A little "too easy" compared to plugging kits I've used this was so easy it was almost unbelievable, that was 6 months ago,it's still in and doesn't use Air. The second one has been in place for a month, the only difference was I screwed it in by hand, and it's holding steady as wellll. ... show more

I'm not strong enough to use regular tire plugs. Since i often drive in areas with construction of new homes, i frequently end up with nails and screws in my tires. Then i found these tire plugs. They are awesome! Now i am able to repair my tires without having to ask others for help. They're incredibly easy to use, even for us females. I even plugged the tire of a friend, whose SUV ended up with a flat tire. (I also carry a tire inflator in my car.) These plugs are very inexpensive, too! ... show more
