  • 5K UHD Day and Night RecordingLINGDU LD02 Dash Cam uses WDR to record video up to Ultra HD 5K(5160*2160P), helping you read road signs, license plates and other key details. F1.8 large aperture, WDR and night vision work together to capture distortion-free images, providing a clear picture even in low light conditions, preserving important evidence in the event of a collision.
  • Built-in 5GHz WiFi and GPS Tracking5GHz WiFi, higher data rate than 2.4GHz, less susceptible to interference, improves the connection between the dash cam and the app. Simply use the LINGDU app to live preview, playback and download files to your phone on your iOS and Android devices. The built-in GPS module enables the dash cam to pinpoint the location and route of the vehicle on the map. You can record and share the wonderful moments of your journey.
  • 24H Parking Monitoring - Dual Parking ModeEven if the SD card is full, the dash cam will continue to record with its loop recording function. Built-in G-sensor, with 24H parking monitoring, can use the delay function in Time-Lapse Parking Mode to record continuously for 24 hours at 1fps. In Time-Lapse Parking Mode and Collision Detection Parking Mode, once the G-sensor detects a sudden collision, it will lock and save the collision video. Note that a hardware kit is required.
  • Stylish and Convenient Design: one-piece streamlined and lightweight design, IML technology and decorative parts make the product more fashionable. Humanized multi-directional pivot design, easy to install. Professional visual information recording, convenient use and operation, better enhance the experience of driving space.
  • Free 64GB Card & Super Capacitor Free 64GB microSD card, no need to buy anything, directly use the dash cam. (Maximum support 128GB, not included). At the same time, LINGDU upgraded the super capacitor for LD02-Lite. Ultracapacitors are designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -4F to 158F to prevent the risk of overheating, explosion, and melting compared to traditional lithium batteries, and they last twice as long as lithium-ion batteries.

  • Great night pictures and works with existing rear-view camera
My old dashcam was starting to act funny, so I looked for a new camera. However, it wasn't easy to find one that worked with the existing rear camera I already had installed, since reinstalling a new one would mean lifting many panels apart and putting them back together. As you can see in the pictures, this one worked fine with my existing one that uses the mini jack format with the red reverse light wire (and the reverse mode does get triggered if it's properly connected to your tail light). Here is my overall take on it: Great: 1. It works with my existing rearview camera, so I didn't have to pay extra for a new one or lift existing panels to get a new one installed. 2. It works properly to engage the "reverse mode" if the rear camera is capable of doing so. 3. Most cameras limit the rear camera recording to 1080p, but I was able to configure this to record at 2k front/back (which is a good compromise in storage/quality). 4. The camera allows you to encode in HEVC (H265) which is better quality compared to H264 (although it also supports this as a fallback for older computers). 5. It uses the USB-C connector instead of the old mini-B connector which is much more durable (it still requires the other side to be USB-A, as it doesn't power using a C-C cable). 6. The package includes a long USB-A to C cable that isn't attached to a car charger (although they also give you a charger if you don't have one). This is one important distinction because most of them only give you a non-removable cable that is part of the car charger itself. This way, if you would like to use a quick charger to power your phone as well as the dashcam you do not have to replace your existing charger (assuming it has multiple ports) or take up another cig power port. 7. This camera has voice commands that can be quite handy (such as "take a picture", "show rear camera", "turn on/off Wi-Fi"). The "take a picture" command takes a picture for you on both front/back cameras without any prompting. It's nice when your hands are full and you just want to ask the camera to save a moment you find interesting without having to fiddle with the camera while you are driving. 8. The camera uses 5Ghz Wi-Fi (operating at 802.11n at 150Mbps) which has worked well and is much faster than 2.4Ghz cameras that are limited to 54Mbps (802.11g). 9. The app does not require you to register an account to view videos on the camera. 10. The app works fine under Android without having to acknowledge that the Wi-Fi network has no Internet connection and to remain connected. This is another important distinction because apps that require you to do this will cause you to lose Internet connectivity when connected to the camera's Wi-Fi network. 11. The camera takes excellent night pictures and adjusts the amount of light that goes into the camera when lighting conditions change. As you can see, both front and rear cameras have very good night picture quality, whereas comparatively night pictures/videos usually look blurry/fuzzy on my previous cameras. 12. This camera appears to be supported by AZDOME, and they have a dedicated website where firmware updates can be downloaded. I have had AZDOME cameras before and they seem to do well in maintaining their cameras, although a new LD02 firmware has not yet been released for this camera. 13. The camera does allow the rear camera view to be mirrored if desired (some cameras do not have this function which drives me crazy when I am using this as a backup camera). 14. The camera has a stable mount and does not lock every single video on a normal drive (on the low sensitivity setting). 15. The swivel mount allows you to adjust the camera view both horizontally and vertically. This allows better flexibility when you mount the camera without losing your field of vision. Stuff to note (these are the things I found somewhat interesting while I was playing around with the camera - while these things may bother some folks, they don't bother me enough to drop a star. Nonetheless, I am listing them out here for reference just in case something irks you on this list): 1. The camera takes about 13 seconds to fully boot up and start recording once power is supplied. This is slightly longer than most other cameras I have. If you are the type that likes the camera to record immediately and you are always in a hurry, you may miss moments of the recording. This may also cause delays if you are using this camera as your dedicated backup camera. 2. The voice command feature does not have a command to show both cameras at once (you have to manually press the keys on the camera to do a switch), and the commands for turning/off the screen are inconsistent ("open screen" vs "turn off display" -- it isn't necessarily smart so any deviations from those words would not be recognized). 3. Infrequently, your navigation software's announcements may accidentally trigger the voice commands, especially when it contain the word "turn" in it. This doesn't happen all that much, but when it does I sometimes do find it funny. 4. The app does not allow you to select multiple files to download, and each one has to be downloaded individually. Additionally, it does not allow you to access saved files until the active recording has been stopped. 5. On certain Android phones with custom DPI or text scaling settings, the app will not allow you to view the videos in full screen (you have to download the videos and play them in a separate player for you to engage full screen properly). 6. The mobile apps do not come with a GPS map when saved videos are played, although the PC app does show you this information. 7. The camera requires a hardwire kit if you would like to engage parking detection mode. 8. The stamp on the video is either on/off and isn't customizable (you cannot turn off certain elements). It has the date, time, device model, lon/lat GPS coordinates, and speed stamped onto the bottom left corner of the video in white. There also isn't a way to add your license plate on the video like some of AZDOME's cameras allow you to do so. The speed indicator on the video does have a slight lag, especially when you are just beginning to accelerate. ... show more

  • LINGDU Dash Cam
Picture quality is excellent, app works fairly well. I do wish the user interface was a bit better designed, and I am somewhat disappointed that there is no rearward facing video, neither for the cabin or a separate camera assembly that sticks to the inside of the back window to capture what is happening behind the vehicle. It is nice that a memory card is included, and it is of decent size. Beware that to do the full time loop recording while parked and such, you will need a separate hardwire kit to connect the power directly into your vehicle battery. Otherwise, this is a decent dash cam, especially if you only need something forward facing. ... show more

  • Amazing quality and ease of use
I have used multiple different dash cams, and this is by far the easiest and best quality. I love the app. This one comes with a memory card which is so convenient. I highly recommend buying this, bought another to give as a Christmas gift to my grandpa.

  • Excellent dash cam
Built in GPS. Built in WiFi. 5K resolution. Feature packed and easy to operate. If you have ever used a dash cam before, you will master this in no time. It is very intuitive. They even include a 64 GB memory card. That is almost always a separate purchase if you purchase other dash cams. Everything you need is in the box. You will be up and running in short order. The instructions are excellent. They even have a generous coupon for this item. I have owned several dash cams. Usually the Florida sun eats up the plastic parts or the cables (if there are any) and the camera becomes impossible to use. I don't think that will happen here. This dash cam is robust and elegant. ... show more

  • Decent Dash Cam
I have been using the Lingdu LD02 Dash Cam for a few months now. I find that it has good picture quality. You have a live view of what the camera sees. The phone application works well and is a good tool for accessing the settings and pulling video off the camera. One of the things I do not like is the menu navigation from the dash cam itself. I find it to be a little tedious having to press the buttons rather than having a touch screen to navigate the menus. ... show more

  • Good Hi-Res Dash Camera
There is a lot to like about the LINGDU dash cam. It is packed in a good quality box and comes with accessories not typically included, like SD card and cables. It is a compact unit that has a an excellent build quality and looks elegant. In use the camera records a clear and hi-res video image. Its has GPS and a 5GHz Wi-fi. The super capacitor type 'battery' is much more durable than a Li-Ion battery which gets damaged from the sun and heat. Overall this is an excellent value camera which works better than anticipated. ... show more

  • Great dash cam
I got this dash cam for extra proof if I ever was in an accident. Luckily accidents don’t happen all the time, but people’s perception of events can get foggy during the stress of an accident. The device itself sticks to the windshield very nicely. The app works well, as does the voice functions. I think it’s incredible to be able to say “take a picture” and have the unit immediately take a picture of whatever is going on at the moment. The video quality is excellent. It records sounds if you want it to. The recording stamps the speed you’re going, and the GPS coordinates if you need to prove what speed you were going at any time during your trip. The recordings loop, so you don’t have to actually delete videos; it will record over them if you don’t lock them. The unit auto-locks recordings if it detects a collision. Luckily, I haven’t had to test this feature. My only note is that when I’m playing videos back, I feel like the app is supposed to show where I am on the map it provides, but it does not. It is just a minor note. Otherwise, this video recorder is fantastic. I live in Phoenix and have not had any issues related to the heat. Give yourself peace of mind and get this camera for your car. ... show more
