Fits the Helix nicely and JUST BARELY fits all the associated cables I need. In a perfect world, the IMHO useless strap loops would go away and the top pocket would expand to fill that space. And a TINY bit more depth on the BIG pocket would be nice. I have to fit an expression pedal, Variax cable, extension cord, three long IEC, stereo 1/4" and a 1/4" extender. BUT... regardless of my complaints, the current version DOES do the job. I as long as I pack somewhat carefully, I can fit everything I need into the bag, so my rig is: GTR, two Speakers, and one backpack. Carrying my Variax gig bag over the Helix backpack is a bit awkward... but I ACTUALLY CAN bring my whole gtr rig into a venue in one trip... (AND then relax and get to enjoy the awesome sound from my Helix.) So while I would love to see a few improvements... this bag effectively serves my needs. ... show more

I was hesitant at first to make this purchase because I wanted something with sufficient padding and protection and I didn’t know what to expect. After looking around for something that would work and coming up empty handed, I decided to go for it. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed! This is a quality backpack for the Helix LT!! Very well made! Plenty of pockets, zippers are bulletproof, and you can carry it 3 different ways (top handle, side handle, or backpack straps). My friend that introduced me to the Helix LT didn’t have a case to carry his in...after seeing mine, I bought him one too! If you own a Helix LT, this is the case for you!! You won’t regret it! On a side note, I’m assuming that the Helix will fit in this case as well. I’m pretty sure that they are the same size. Hope this review helps! ... show more

    • Good Quality, A important part of the lightweight giggers puzzle
After 8 years of playing weddings, lugging around 50 pound tubers, pedal boards, all the cords... the s gets old. I made it my mission this season I now use a helix with a floor wedge monitor facing directly towards me. Reduced our stage sound significantly and I can finally hear myself without blowing out my bandmates ears. I had a hardshell case for the helix but it was FIFTEEN, yes FIFTEEN pounds. The helix I think is around 12 pounds? All set with that. I bought this backpack and now I'm able to carry more, and carry quicker. Only used it for about 4 gigs but it seems very quality. I can fit a folding stand and a fender volume pedal in the front pocket with the x, sorry, >< on it. It's a very pricey bag, but worth it to me. The quality of it is quite good. ... show more

Because of how much I paid for my Helix, I wanted the best case available. This one is it. The fit is snug, but that's how it should be. Lots of space in the large front pocket for cables (I carry 6-8 20' cables at a time) and nice smaller pocket for monitors, picks, etc. Can be carried as a backpack or briefcase. Backpack straps tuck inside nicely if you choose to carry it briefcase style. Very rugged and durable. ... show more
