After having a problem with a third-part seller (see below) I reordered these gap covers and made sure that I was ordering directly from Linda's Essentials. The covers arrived quickly and were packaged flat - the covers were folded over just once, in the middle but not creased. I have thought about ordering gap covers for years, not sure why it took so long. These do the trick of preventing food from falling into the gap between the cabinet/counter and the stove. My husband appreciates that since he's the one who moves the stove out for cleaning. I do find though that the covers shift a little and I have to reset them in place but they have not fallen down between my stove and cabinet. I should note that my counters are higher than the stove top so the gap covers sit at a bit of an angle, and my gap might be a little bigger than other's have. The gap covers probably do better if the stove and counter are more evenly aligned. Still, they definitely serve the purpose of preventing food from falling down into that gap and I'm glad to finally have gotten them. I thought I would notice them but once I set them in place and admired them, they kind of disappeared. I really don't notice them being there which to me is a good thing. We have a gas stove and so far (about 2 weeks) they seem unaffected by that heat. I definitely recommend them. Original Seller Experience: I originally purchased these from a third-party seller. I didn't look at the Sold By notation on the far right. I am normally careful to observe whether a product is being fulfilled by Amazon and who the seller is if someone other than Amazon. Somehow I didn't notice this when I placed this order and what I got was sold and shipped by Kiddro. I was sent the wrong color and wrong size. I contacted them and they apologized and said the one I ordered was out of stock and that they would send me a mailing label to return the wrong set. After almost a month, no return label. I contacted Amazon for assistance. They said they would contact the vendor and if I hadn't heard from them in two days, to contact Amazon again for a refund. No reply from the vendor after 4 days so I contacted Amazon and they said they would apply their A-Z Guarantee and I was approved for a refund. I went into my orders and left "Awful" feedback for the vendor with a comment explaining why. I rarely leave bad feedback for any vendor, it's never my intent to hurt someone's business, but they sent me the wrong product and kept my money even after I contacted them. So... Magically, the vendor popped up and sent me a message saying that they issued me a refund and I didn't need to return the wrong gap covers. I think that Amazon must have notified them again that they were going to refund me so the vendor jumped to attention. That's good, but now I'm getting messages (3) from them telling me that it's unfair that I left them bad feedback and asking me to remove it. Unfair? Haha! Seriously? They had a month - a month! - to amend this. My husband and I order from Amazon a few times a week and we have things on subscription (e.g., cat food). We order from Amazon because we know that we can rely on getting our stuff and we can easily return something if required, and we are refunded promptly when due. I don't have time to mess around trying to get a vendor to refund me for their mistake. I requested it and they said they'd send the label. I was perfectly happy to repackage their product and return it to them with their prepaid return label, but they never sent it. Now they are upset with me. Hmmm. Honestly, I was going to change their feedback from 1 star to 3 stars and add to my comment to further explain what happened, but I see now that I can't change seller feedback. Forgot about that but I stand by my original rating. If they had communicated with me about a delay in sending the label, or whatever, different story. They didn't though and now they want me to remove my feedback altogether. I'm not going to though. I rely on other customer's product and seller reviews and I think my situation is something others should know about too when deciding whether to order from someone other than Amazon direct. This product does as it’s advertised! It covers the gap between the stove and the counter. It will stay in place and will not “melt” as some will say. Everything is dependent on if you put it in place properly and the stove and counter are very close to the same height. There are 3 branches on a T. The shortest branch goes in the crevice. The longest branch goes over the counter and the other lays on the stove. Simple and easy to do. What this product does not do… It’s not designed to make your stove and counter the same height. Adjust the level of your stove to match your counter height! It’s not designed to fill large gaps (1/4+) between your stove and your counters! ... show more

I'm very happy with these stove & counter gap covers! They are just as described. I got the 25 in covers &, as I suspected, I did have to trim a little off the ends but this was super easy to do. I also had to trim a little off long wise but that has more to do with how our counter sits between our stove & fridge. Even after trimming they look so nice & neat & are doing the job! I could never remember to get these cover gaps for my stove to kitchen counter, and food crumbs would find their way down the gap. Thank goodness I ran across these covers. They work wonderfully and are very easy to install and to keep clean. Excellent product.

I was greatful for its quick delivery. Nevertheless, I was not impressed by the time it needed to finally stay in its place and the job I got it for. It's washable and I'm glad I don't need to clean between the stove and the cabinet anymore.

Getting the items out of the packaging was challenging, because silicone doesn’t slip and I didn’t want to damage the product. Because they don’t slip, the covers stay where they are needed. Because they don’t slip, wiping with a damp cloth takes a few extra seconds. Because they are flexible, they are easy to cut to size with scissors. Because they are flexible, one fits between the counter and refrigerator IF the refrigerator is close enough for the cover to not fall down that space. I previously had a metal cover, which I wouldn’t use next to the fridge for fear of scratching the finish. I would definitely recommend these. ... show more

The silicone material is very soft and pliable, it should conform to just about any surfaces. Easy to trim to a smaller size with a sharp razor knife and straight edge. So far seems to resist stains very well also, would buy again if ever needed.

Does what it should! Much cleaner than having a gap next to the stove. We had a very small gap, so it was easy to install. Don't know how it would work with a wide gap. Easy to clean, too.
