I needed a Windows laptop to run one program for tuning a Grom. This was cheap & I'm satisfied with my purchase. Worked great out of the box. I ran all updates. I did browse the web just to test & it did fine. The plastic exterior is just that. Flimsy but it's expected for a little over $100. The media could not be loaded. i've had nonstop problems with this computer ever since i got it. it says it may need to charge before cutting on and i let it charge overnight before use , i already had it set up and when i go to use it today its acting up. first, it just simply wouldn't cut on then it finally did. i was in the middle of doing my schoolwork when i move it out of my lap and it cuts off.. i cut it back on i load up google and it shuts back off.. once again i load the computer back up and i unplug the charger because obviously it should be okay by now but every time i unplug the charger the computer cuts off ? it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me .. it looks good but quality wise it sucks. ... show more

The LincPlus computer is a great little computer for what little I do on a laptop. But it has some annoying issues. The capital letters keep popping up even though I haven't clicked on the caps lock. And I cannot get the #hash tag button to work when I need to. And the hard drive isn't capable to install windows 11 but you can play X-box on it. I don't get that! It's also not fast enough! But any way it's good enough for what I need it for. ... show more

It's a nice computer however two of my keys are inverted and don't work you have to do that sign on the number two and the number two of the outside. Thank God I'm smart was able to figure it out. Contacted the company never heard back from them. So as far as customer service is concerned not thrilled. update::: I will be returning this computer.The customer service is horrible will NOT return emails ..the sound is non existent..so they don't deserve my money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ouch, so many 2 & 3 star ratings on this laptop. Is it REALLY that bad? Not to me. Look, it's advertised as only 4gigs of ram with an n3350 CPU. The CONSUMER should do their research on this CPU and it's capabilities before making this purchase, do NOT go by price alone when making a buying decision. I guess one thing to point out is absolutely expect this machine to run very very very slow until you have done all of the windows updates. It took me over 6 hours to apply the needed updates to the machine, yes, 6 hours, not joking. CPU was pegged at 100% the entire time during updates. Turbo maintained around 2.32Ghz. After updates, I did a disk cleanup and there was almost 7 gigs of unneeded junk I was able to get rid of. After all was said and done after updates and clean up Windows 10 used about 22gigs of space leaving me with I believe 34 gigs free. Performance was way better with no updates running in the back ground, boot time was still slow but bearable. Video playback kind of lost some frames at 1080p, but if you lower it to 720p, you'll get a nice experience with minimal frame drops. In gaming I only tried emulation in MAME running some of the harder to run games like Killer Instinct and Primal Rage and the games ran just fine. One would have to do some research on YouTube on the n3350 to know it's potential. Linux Mint Xfce with Twister OS, runs like a dream on this machine, and I would recommend one ditch Windows in favor of Linux on a machine like this. The Windows version on this laptop runs in "S" mode so you can't install your favorite browser or many other apps until you remove S mode. Microsoft allows you to do this for free, only catch is you need to sign in with a Microsoft email account which I'm not a fan of doing. The IPS display is one of the better displays I have seen on cheaper laptops. It's very bright and sharp and has a great viewing angle. It will even do 1080p at 120hz. At least it will in Linux anyway, never tried under Windows. One thing that I didn't like and was almost tempted to deduct a star for, is the UK keyboard layout. The keys themselves are easy enough to type with and the track pad is...mehh.. but that UK keyboard layout can make things confusing for some. For the most part, I used an external keyboard and mouse for setup worked worked great. I like that there are 3 usb ports, made using my KVM with a USB stick much smoother. Didn't care for the mini-HDMI on the side, but it was nice to see a network slot on the side as well. I love how upgrading to a new drive is so super simple, just take off the door on back, pop the new one in. I opted to dual boot of course. I don't recommend this laptop for gaming, this is a no nonsense low budget laptop for grandma that will require some time and patience to setup and optimize completely. You will hate this laptop until that is finished. Once it is though, it's actually not too bad, kind of snappy, does YouTube videos just fine at 1080p though would recommend 720. I also changed Windows 10 performance to best performance and used the Windows light theme and turned off all the goodies I could. I now have a very nice dual boot and 100% usable laptop that has a great IPS screen with a great picture. Webcam is useless, sound is a bit weak, but hey, that's what headphones are for!! Overall, I think for a REAL 5 star experience on this laptop, run it with an SSD using Linux Mint Xfce with Twister OS and ditch Windows. Or do like I did, and keep Windows, but uses it as the secondary OS. With this nice budget laptop, it's very easy to do, so 5 stars from me because it does it all without the need for a fan and performs well enough as an entry level laptop that is easy to upgrade to a larger capacity SSD. Blame Windows for a weak showing, for no nonsense types, it's great. ... show more
