    • The strength of this umbrella isn't that it's strong, it's that it folds down to almost nothing.

The media could not be loaded. When folded it can fit easily in a pocket of just about any camera bag. In a couple seconds it pops open to a full 33" shoot through umbrella. And you get all that for less than $10. The intent is to use it as a just-in-time light modifier when working an event. It allows you to have an umbrella, a fairly large umbrella for that matter, on hand if needed and not getting in the way if not. I frequently use it with an Andoer S-Shaped Bowens Mount Speedlight Flash Bracket Handheld Grip Holder which does a great job of holding a speedlight securely and has a comfortable grip that allows me or a helper to get the light and umbrella positioned properly. And if I really want to pack light I use an even smaller mount, like this one . That said, this is not a durable umbrella and shouldn't be considered for everyday use. These aren't made to last. Everyone knows that. But couldn't beat the price when I got them, and for quick run around shots. (seniors, weddings) when you want to setup for 2minutes and then tear down and move along.

I guess, you get what you pay for.. The quality of the product is average. Once folded, its ultra small and portable.. you can even place it in your pant pockets.. its very small once folded.
