Arrived in a box that looked like it was thrown down the stairs a few times. However great packing did protect the unit and there was no damage. OK, Generator ran fine right out of the box. I like that it will run from an extension cord. It is so quiet I thought it was not running at first. I use it for tractor and vehicle tires mostly. It does not have the CFM needed for most air tools. It does quickly recharge but, if you are using constant air it just does not have the capacity. I have an old Craftsman 3.5 hp,15gallon compressor. That provides more CFM to use air tools. But it is clunky and heavy. So if you think you can run a paint sprayer or something you need more than this unit can provide. This is a compact and nice looking well functioning unit. It is built like a tank and all metal quality materials. I highly recommend it for light work. Had read good reviews and thought it was made in USA after looking at their website BUT it's made in China. Having said that, it's well built, lightweight, VERY quiet, keeps pressure and does its job well. The bad: the instructions are not clear and there is a lot of misidentified parts and obviously badly translated. Had to contact support for the test run (I didn't want to screw it up; it took a couple of days to hear back) but I got everything working OK. The packaging was a little iffy. One of the valves had punctured the foam padding but after test run, it turned out it was OK. This is one of the most quiet compressors I've tested.     • Really Happy! The Little Compressor That Could!

I purchased this compressor based on reviews that I have read from other customers and I am very happy with this product. My choice was to invest in a compressor to help me save money on maintenance around my house. It has been used to clean various items such as my dryer vent and my car interior while also providing a fast fill option for filling all of my pneumatic tires. It is very quiet, my 3 year old grandson does not get scared when the compressor kicks on and he enjoys seeing all of the attachments that I use with it. The biggest use I have tested it with is as a blowout device for mt irrigation. I allow the system to fully charge and then open the valve for the line that I want to evacuate and it clears each zone individually. This saved me $90 dollars on its first use. Closing the sprinkler valve and allowing the compressor to refill is key but it only takes about a minute to refill and I run it at about 50PSI for the blowout. All lines together would overwhelm the compressor but It is very efficient if you understand how to apply the machine. I keep this machine close buy for all of my compressor needs. One thing to be aware is that when you are rolling it around using the supplied wheels and handle, the machine wants to tip backwards if you lift up past the center of gravity as the motor is the heaviest towards the back. This just requires a knowledge of general safety rules of any item like this. I keep the tank drained on follow the manufacturers recommendations for use and I have found no problems with the compressor. I fully believe this compressor has already saved me its cost in repair bills with all of the uses it can be applied to. I am very Happy! ... show more

It's a little heavier than I expected, but it's small and doesn't take up much room. The handle makes it easy to carry. Gauges are clear and easy to read. Kg/cm2, bar, and psi. Fills the gal tank quickly. I use it with my airbrush. I would highly recommend this compressor!

This thing is great. It's basically the exact same as the California Air Tools compressor, but actually a little bit better because it has a 1HP motor instead of a .6HP motor. It's like the hot rod model. It's remarkably quiet, and the tank fills fast. I actually like this better than the ones with the big tank, because when used infrequently you don't have to wait forever for the tank to fill up. You have full air pressure almost instantly. And it makes it lightweight to carry around. This thing really is a remarkable improvement over the pancake air compressors people have been using forever. China build quality is getting good. There is an elegant mechanical simplicity to the way this thing is designed. This could say Made in Germany and I would almost believe it. ... show more

In the title, this compressor is quiet which is the main reason for purchase. I keep it around 30-35 psi for my laser cutter while still having some extra plumbing to keep the smaller stock air pump that came with the machine as an option if I don't need too much air for etching, extending the life of this compressor. I have 3 levels of psi, stock machine air assist, then LightBurn air assist off (compressor psi regulated by the inline restrictor) and air assist on which full psi is set by the compressor. Have many hours of running so far and the small tank works fine, it doesn't run out of air, but of course it pumps to fill up a lot compared to a larger 6-8 gallon tank, but I specifically chose this smaller tank due to small room and lighter weight. Happy the decision has worked out. I did get an after sale email from the company and initially thought, here we go, but to my surprise, it wasn't a request for a review, it was an email directed at service and my satisfaction. They literally directed it as a reply email if I had any questions or needed tech support. No requests made to me for them, very classy after sale email imo. ... show more
