I bought this specifically because it was stiff in the reviews as I don't use it for sitting but for sleeping on with a tempurpedic twin 3" topper on top. I wanted it to be stiff so that it wouldn't wear down over time due to sleeping on it every night. But everyone who sits on it remarks how uncomfortable it is as a couch. Your butt will literally go numb in 15 minutes on this thing, it is FIRM and you do not sink into at all. Again that's why I bought it, the reviewers here were not joking. Hopefully this last years as a result. Last couch got so sunken in over time that the boards were able to be felt through the cushion so wanted to avoid that with this purchase. Assembled easily enough, did it solo. I remember it being a total pain to slide the arms into the body though as those connections have a super tight tolerance and are very tricky to align. But through attrition and much swearing I was finally able to get it done. Solid build otherwise, sturdy etc...not cheap feeling for the price. The under compartment/stowage is roomy and fits a twin tempurpedic 3" topper, a couple of pillows and a thin blanket perfectly to keep it out of sight. With a topper this would make a stellar guest bed as well, but expect to be unhappy if you don't heed the warning on how stiff this couch is and expect it not to be you've been warned! ... show more

Hello. I dont know who needs to have a true review on this couch or is thinking about it but I bought this couch about 2 weeks ago. I had researched couches everywhere in our price range that had everything we wanted (velvet material, storage, sleeper, big enough for 2 couple to be comfortable). It said delivery would be about a week. It was delivered 3 days after i ordered it. It was delivered in 3 big packages. I honestly wasn’t expecting much out of this couch. I opened it and put it all together in about an hour or so ( would have been faster if i had another person to help me!). After I put it all together i sat on it and it was absolutely comfortable right out of the box! I am 5’9” and i can lay down on the whole thing nicely! The sleeper is attached by wheels and can come out to make cleaning under the couch easy! I have a dog and the couch does get dog hair on it, but it is amazingly easy to clean, wipes right off! If you are looking for a sleeper couch that is affordable and has storage and you think this one is the one you want I highly recommend purchasing this couch!! Best couch i have owned! This really is a wonderful couch. I have never purchased a couch online and I paid $650, so definitely wasn't expecting high-end. I LOVE the color! It goes perfectly with my floors. It is exactly what I was wanting in that regard. The cushions are firm (as expected from other reviews), but it is comfortable. I also love the storage in the chaise. There is a TON of space there - far more than I had realized there would be. We also love the pullout function. It is a firm, but comfortable spare bed. In fact, the pull out is so easy I finally had to tell my children that it has to stay as a couch unless we were actually in need of a spare bed. LOL. They kept saying they wanted to lay on it as a bed throughout the day. It does seem to withstand pet hair very well, however, it seems to pick up any stray piece of dirt or crumbs. I am constantly wiping it up. I have no idea why when with a cat AND a dog, i don't seem to have to wipe off the hair. We do live in the country, so my kids are constantly tracking in plant debris and dirt. It has not stained though - so that is awesome! I just wipe it down. The one thing to realize is that each section is "hooked" together with the typical sectional metal connectors - each arm, each section, as well as the chaise. The convertible bed also doesn't really line up with the front of the couch, which means there is sometimes a gap between the cushions and the bottom of the couch. These are the biggest indicators that it is lower quality - but at that price point, can you really complain? Nope. Time will tell in how it holds up. ... show more

It's a great couch for the pull out bed. Super easy to convert into a bed and my guests found it comfortable. The couch itself is pretty hard to sit on. It's good if you like a lot of support, but it's not the kind of couch that you want to sit and curl up on to read a book or cuddle with the cat. I was very worried about ordering a couch I had never seen, online. I love the firmness of this couch. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it’s super practical and versatile. I live in a duplex on the upper level and the hallway is narrow and has a turn. I actually got a different couch before this and couldn’t get it in and ended up couchless for three months before I bought this one. It fit PERFECTLY up my impossible staircase. The only thing that was slightly irritating was that the couch came in three boxes on three separate days but again that’s almost an unmentionable inconvenience. Overall I’ve gotten multiple compliments by other moms on it, and I would buy it again ... show more

I was looking for a sleeper couch to fit our newly remodeled park model for quite a while. Found this one. Was a little leery about reviews that said it was too firm. It is very firm, but fine for every day usage. We basically use this place in summer and have grandkids and friends stay with us occasionally. Used this past week with 6 year old granddaughters. I have a 2 inch foam mattress pad which we used for sleeping and are able to store in the storage area of couch, folded in thirds with a little stuffing in, while keeping a mattress pad and queen sheet on it.
