    • Built for a small person.
I bought this chair for my mother to enable her to get through some very narrow doorways in our home. The chair would be great for a small person, however my mother finds that the bar in the back which is the break bar hits her back when she is sitting in the chair. Mother is around 5 foot 8 in tall and when she sits in the chair with her feet on the foot rest her legs are at a bit of an awkward angle. We will keep it because it is certainly helpful for going through the very narrow doorways, but would not be comfortable for her to ride in for very long. ... show more

    • Nice little unit
This is what i was looking for, small unit, easy to fold and looks nice. The issue is the break handle, when sitting in the chair, it presses against your back and it is uncomfortable. We needed to put a pad against it. Had to return it, can't stand the break handle.

The only 2 good qualities about this transport chair is that it's easy to fold and lightweight. According to the write-up, there are supposed to be many other good qualities, however it seems that the manufacturer has skilled writers. Once using, I noticed that the locking mechanisms are made of plastic, it's rickety & unstable, and the breaking system, most likely, would barely pass safety codes. I loved this chair purchased for my wife. It is very lightweight and folds easily and very compactly. I deal for a car with a small trunk. It is well constructed and I was delighted. It rolls easily and is very maneuverable. I appreciated the foot stop to allow me to tilt the chair for curbs. The seat belt and carry bag are also plusses.     • Wanted this to be the right wheelchair for us!
Unfortunately, this did not work out and we had to return it. I need a light wheelchair that fits in my the car to take my mother around. Looks sleek, easy to fold & it sure is lightweight. I believe it needs to be advertised as a child w.c. My mother is 156 Lbs. The seatbelt didn’t go around her. We had to use our own PT belt to secure her. Worst feature was the footrest. As easy as it looks (I hate the 2 side paddles), it was so high that was impossible for my mother to put her feet up. She would’ve injured her already problemed knees. Ordered due to the width of the wheel chair. Liked concept of the product, however the foot rests are too narrow, and husband said the break bar hit his back making him uncomfortable. Unfortunately will have to return.

    • LOVE THIS CHAIR!
I bought this chair for a family member and tried it out myself when it arrived. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!!! I took it out of the box and easily unfolded it, swung the arm rests into position and removed the plastic covering from the wheels. It took me a little while to figure out where the brake was. It moves, glides and swivels easily. It's narrow enough to use in any home with ease. The footrest folds away easily so the individual using the chair can scoot around with his/her feet. I even scooted it into the bathroom . The une drawback I found is that the brake is located a little bit above the back rest. While that makes it easy for the person pushing the chair, it is definitely not easy for the person riding in the chair to independently lock or release the brake. Although the system did not allow me to select a half star in the rating, I would give this chair a 4.5 star rating. ... show more
