I was so happy to finally get my hands on this salt. A need to know- it comes in a back and seems damp and sandy. Lay it out on parchment paper and put it in a low temp oven to dry it out. It grinds better when its dry

I love the salt, first bag was a 1 lb and it came completely dry and usable. Second purchase was a 2 lb and it is definitely wet. Does not go through the grinder very well. I will try to dry it somehow on a heat Source but disappointed in this purchase due to the moisture, but the flavor is great and I enjoy using it. ... show more
