This is a good coarse salt. I use it where a recipe calls for coarse or Kosher salt, and in our salt grinder (we rationalize that using a grinder gives us more controlled and repeatable amounts when we salt our food). In any case, this salt has no visible impurities or flavors, and is entirely satisfactory. The price is very reasonable for real sea salt. What can I say except this salt tastes like salt. I feel like that's helpful for people who just want salt, and for people like me who love to taste things from around the world and see their differences and similarities. This salt is a very pure salt flavor, as in there's not many trace minerals in the final product that my palate can pick up, and the crystal size is OK for a grinder as well, or a chunky salt on something getting grilled. It would probably be a decent size for pretzels, too. I can't imagine there would be massive amounts of horrible reviews for this, because it is exactly as advertised! Its not too much for portion control to keep in the pantry for its next use. I use this in my electric grinder and it does well on all course levels. Nice sized crystals for margaritas and steaks. I’ve been using this product for decades and this has a nice flavor. Using this over cheaper salts is more about luxury and presentations though, rather than a real taste difference in food. Not noticeable when used in small amounts in food but slightly noticeable if compared side by side with others.
