The media could not be loaded. Great product at this price point! The quality of printed photos is better than I expected- colors correct, not too glossy or matte. See video attached. Quality: For best print quality, PRINT FROM LIENE APP instead of direct print from your phone (iOS Photos App for example). Functionality: The printer is super easy to use if you are printing from your phone. To set it up, simply put in the ink cartridge and plug it in. It does use a Wi-Fi Direct which means the printer creates a Wi-Fi for your phone to join and print while not having other Wi-Fi connections. This wouldn’t be a problem if you have all the photos you’d like to print downloaded/available offline. Value: I do think this is a GREAT DEAL! Printer + 100 sheets + 3 ink cartridges + great print quality + the happiness physical photo brings for about $135 (got it while on sale) is almost a steal. After two beloved pets passed away a week apart from each other, I found myself wishing I had an easier way of printing pictures from my phone. Uploading/downloading from various cloud based applications was becoming tedious, not to mention having to send them somewhere to be printed. I decided to look here on Amazon for a photo printer. I knew I didn’t want the super small 3x2 size. I looked into various brands and happened upon this Liene printer. After reading the many positive reviews, I was willing to give it a try. After some use, I’m adding my own review to the mix. It is a fantastic little printer!! 1) The price point is more than reasonable when compared with other brands. After the initial purchase, and considering the price of the paper/cartridge refills, at roughly $.48 a picture, it is also much more cost effective than having them printed at a retailer (in my experience). 2) It’s oh so easy to set up and get going! I was able to connect to my iPhone in just a few steps. It is Wi-Fi based, not Bluetooth, just fyi. 3) The print quality is really good! I was so impressed that such a nice looking picture came out of a small, portable printer. 4) Small footprint. The printer takes up very little space on my desk. The paper cartridge can be removed from the front of the printer and stored on top of it. It has magnets, so it doesn’t slide around on top. The Liene printer has been an absolute pleasure to have and use. The convenience of printing right from my phone, along with the quality of the pictures it produces, have me 100% a satisfied customer. ... show more

This was easy to set up. It connects seamlessly to your phone or computer via wifi. It took me a few tries to get it to print the photos just right, but that was on me and me not setting up the print instructions properly. It works as advertised and prints top quality 4 by 6 photos. Top quality paper. It saves you trips to a store like CVS to get your photos. The only drawback is that it only prints 4 by 6. Maybe smaller...didn't try that, but not any larger. ... show more

Bought this for my mom for Christmas and we tried it out. The quality is better than we expected. Very crisp and clear photos. The colors are awesome and it prints pretty fast. Would definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking for a quality portable printer!

Edited to add: Below I detailed an issue I had with the printer not working due to an error whereby it did not detect the ink/cartridge properly. I wrote my review before customer service had a chance to address my issue. They wrote me several times to assess the problem so I grew impatient thinking we were getting nowhere when in reality they were trying to determine which avenue to take for a solution. After they understood what the root of the matter was, they escalated my communication to the proper department which then sent me a replacement printer. I was able to use the ink cartridges that were previously showing up in the app as "empty" and I am now back to printing BEAUTIFUL photos. I was so upset before, I didn't mention all the things I loved: - The paper cassette sits on top of the printer for a smaller footprint (easy storage) when not in use. - There is only one physical button on the printer to have to deal with - just requires you press for a certain amount of time or multiple times depending on which function you need. - You can print 5 different ways - with the app, from your android, from an iOS device, connected to your PC via USB, or connected to your PC via Wi-Fi. - As mentioned in my original review, connectivity is a breeze and the app is user friendly. - I didn't know this when reading the description on Amazon but there is an ID printer function. I'm so glad this company didn't just consider me and my printer a lost cause and solved the issue. For anyone else in the same boat, I would just recommend giving them a chance to remedy the problem. We get so used to fast fixes, it is easy to forget sometimes that just because a company is going back and forth with us does not mean that all hope should be lost. This little device brings such cheer! It was worth the wait of getting it replaced. ***************************************************************************************** I purchased the bundle with 3 ink cartridges. The first cartridge is labeled that there is enough ink for 20 photos. The other 2 are labeled to be enough for 40 photos each. I got 4 photos out of the first cartridge and then it said empty. What's worse is that even when I replaced with either of the other 2 new cartridges, the printer still indicates an empty cartridge! I contacted customer service with a screenshot of the error message and the explanation that even brand new cartridges are registering as empty. Their response/advice was to reset the printer and clean out any debris (even though my printer is brand new). After following their advice, the printer still won't work! The 4 pictures I was able to print came out beautifully and using the app was easy. But if that's all I get for the price I paid and customer service can't help fix the issue, this item is definitely not worth the price. ... show more
