In my previous build, I had to spend way too much time mounting and cable managing all the fans--it was a real chore. But with these, I was able to install 10 fans in just a few minutes, especially with the added benefit of the fan sleds in my 011D Evo case. With the daisy chain, I ended up with only 2 wires per fan cluster, and am able to run them all off a single controller hub. The fans look AMAZING and keep my system cool even on quiet mode. My only complaint is that--inexplicably-- while everything else looks great, the USB connector that runs from the controller to the motherboard is not fully sleeved, so you have those ugly multicolored wires to look at. I was able to fix this with some electrical tape, but again, there's no reason why LianLi couldn't just properly sleeve the cable in the first place. ... show more

To be fair, if you own the Infinity fans from Lian Li, these are better than anything that's in your case right now. Noctua Master Race notwithstanding. These fans are the easiest installation. It brings the aRGB control and implementation to any motherboard regardless of aRGB support. Their light output is top tier, and they are incredibly quiet. Where do i start. The daisy chain feature is unmatched, soooooo easy to install especially as a first timer. Colors are great although there was a specific blue i was trying it pull off and it just couldn't reach the shade no matter what I did. They are very quiet even at full speed I can barely hear them. They look hella premium and the colors are bright. Software also easy to use, just wished it would sync with my gskill and Asus gpu. Also, wished that Lian Li would allow the "warning" light pattern to be feature for when the CPU or GPU gets too hot. ... show more

These are really easy and convenient because they all snap together, and can also all be controlled through the included fan hub. L-connect software is required, and RGB doesn’t stick after pc reboot, the software must be reopened. Thankfully L-connect has improved over the years. The noise level can get pretty loud when nearing max speed, and also important to note that these will not drop below 800-900 rpm so there will always be some noise. ... show more

I absolutely love these fans. The daisy chain was the main reason I purchased these fans. They are easy to link up and you don’t need any additional tools to “chain” them together. Previously I was using the Corsair QL120s but the cable management nightmare made me choose these. (Definitely make sure your motherboard has the capability to use the rgb/hub. Some older ones might not have the port.) The noise level on them are subtle when set to standard. I’d definitely recommend going into your motherboard bios and adjusting as needed. So, at first I could not get my computer to recognize the fans. Turns out it came with a faulty controller. Annoying, but I planned on getting another set anyway and the controller that came with that one worked great. Make sure you take some time to read up on exactly how everything works and where you need to plug everything in. It could save you a lot of headache if you're a noob like myself. If your software is recognizing the fans but won't do anything, update the controller using either l connect 3 itself or the fw update on lianlis website. Aside from my initial issues, these are great. Looks good and keeps my PC nice and cool. I just lian li did a better job at quality control when it comes to the controllers. ... show more

These fans are easy to install, they slide together and lock into place. There's a small endcap thing that is very thing that hooks into the last fan of the group. Two wires provide all the connections for a bank of fans. They felt like they were well built and light weight.
