I've TRIED to upload a picture, but can't seem to get it to work(will try again later) Extremely difficult to assemble -i had to pay a guy$100-after originally offering$50 because it took him OVER 4 hours& it's STILL NOT put together right-this could possibly be his fault IDK but I do know that's he's capable -Soo I'm choosing to BELIEVE him-i was present while he worked on it-i witnessed his frustration!!-the sliding doors fall off/come out of the track EVERY SINGLE time i open them!! It's also NOT inline so it hits the corner of the fireplace on the right side-making it difficult& contributing to it not staying in the tracks but the other side doesn't stay either!! The shelves are NOT sturdy at all!!-the material is already warped where the screws are inserted and I've never spilled nor had anything wet near it!!-i have NOT attempted to try the fireplace YET for ALL of these reasons& it has not been cold yet-(*even thou i bought it in Feb it wasn't until April/May by the time I was able to get HELP to assemble it)-Soo I'll have to update when I do, but I can't say I'm pretty worried!! Other than that it does 'LOOK' nice- nicer than it functions! It's VERY wide-i JUST think I could've gotten a better deal or if I had known these things I probably would've searched for a better deal!!I really don't understand why cheaply made furniture cost so much these days-oh wait-maybe it's due to it being shipped!!(*fuel prices-middle men, etc) I guess it's not too bad of a deal since it does 'look' like a decent piece of furniture and if the fireplace works I will be satisfied -JUST make sure you have someone that knows what they are doing(& cares) to assemble with extra care& make sure they know it may take some patience and attention to ALL off the details in the instructions(*that's probably what happened in my case-since I was paying someone that probably thought it was gonna be quick& easy!!-which btw I haven't seen nor heard from since!!I hope this review is helpful in some way!! I will try to get pics uploaded& update when I give the fireplace a try! Good luck in your search!! I would recommend buying if you find a good deal& have someone decent to assemble it for you-make sure you take measurements& are aware of how much space you'll need!!-ooh btw,I do have my brand new Roku 55 inch TV sitting on top of it with a tiny bit of room to spare!! ... show more

The packages came in one 100lb box and one 20lb box. Shipping was incredibly fast and both packages ended up arriving on the same day. I think I just got lucky, though so I was pleasantly surprised I could set it all up in one go. None of the boards or other materials had any visible damage or scratches. I was able to assemble this with an Allen wrench, Philips head screwdriver, and a flathead screwdriver. I don't think I used any other tools. But I wish I had used a power drill for some parts. The assembly was not a fun time. I did it by myself and it took several hours. The manual can be a little confusing and the illustrations and labeling aren't always accurate. Double-check everything before you place it! Some of the smaller screw locations are not marked on the boards, and you need to make those holes yourself. But I didn't run into too much trouble with placement. Most hardware locations were marked. I did receive a few spare screws, etc., which was nice. And stickers were included to cover up any unsightly screws for a seamless finish. The finished product looks beautiful! The barn doors slide easily and there are subtle adhesives provided to soften noise. If you purchase the version with the fireplace, you'll still receive the shelf that the version without a fireplace has. So you have options if you ever want to remove the fireplace. The fireplace was an easy set up. The flames could be a tad brighter in daylight, but it still looks homey. I haven't tried the heater yet since it's still very much summer weather where I am. Overall, I think the price point was fair for the product I got. I'm extremely happy with this product. It took hours of searching to find an entertainment center with the correct height/width specifications for my oddly shaped living room, but this was as close to perfect as I could find! I was happily surprised at the quality of this unit! As a female, I was concerned about tackling this by myself but I've put many pieces of furniture together so I decided to try it and it went very well. The instructions are good but pay attention to the pictures, as the text/instructions were missing in a couple of places. The only critique I have is that the cabinet instructions need to mention what not to do if you're installing the fireplace: don't install the center shelf and don't put the back on because the fireplace is installed from the back and takes up the entire space. It looks beautiful and sturdy, the heater works very well and we've also enjoyed the flames without the heat. The remote is wonderful... and it comes with a battery! Oh... I love that the heat is set by temperature versus low, medium, high. I'm very happy with this purchase!! ... show more

First and foremost everyone should be prepared to curse and sweat when assembling this bad boy. If you want to test the limits of your relationship I suggest assembling it with the help of your partner- survival of the fittest. Once assembled this thing is great. I have a 48in TV, a sound bar, a router, and Wi-Fi, on the top along with a few skulls for decoration. Plenty of storage and I added lights to it and other things to hide the cable box in that area. The electric "fireplace" works well and can add heat to the room but I prefer to leave the heat feature off. ... show more
