The media could not be loaded. I had an old Vizio 50” for many years, I’d guess about 8 years. While I had the money, I just never wanted to spend it since the TV was fine for me. Well, I got some Christmas gifts that were money, with the express idea of helping me buy a TV. I chose this 65” LG OLED. It’s enormous, possibly too big for a 1Br apartment tbh, lol. I had to move my couch back a little bit. The blacks are jet black, and the whites (simultaneously) are bright enough that it looks like glare coming from them. It’s a vast difference from my old TV. The picture is amazing, and it’s 120 Hz. Coupled with a PS5 (or Xbox, or PC) it’s awesome, it even has a substantial amount of gaming settings and a little gaming dashboard. It’s like a whole different experience than my old TV. It also has all of the modern smart TV features, including of course streaming services (I used to have to use my PS5 for HBO Max, but no longer). I love it tbh. It’s a lot of money for something that honestly would be fine at a lower quality offering, but I’m happy with it. It was delivered with “chose the room” type of service, which I picked because I live on the second floor, so they carried it up for me. I set it up myself and disposed of the box/garbage. Make sure if you lift the top of the box off to get to the TV that you pull out the foam insert in the top of it, that’s where the remote and stuff is. Lifting the top off is best in case you want to save the box intact, but the foam piece is basically pressed in there, so you’ll have to carefully pull it out from the very top of the box. At first i thought I was missing stuff because I’m not the brightest. The sound is like having small PC speakers with a subwoofer, it’s far beyond my old TV. It has very loud bass, not like older TVs. If you haven’t upgraded in a while, it’s a pretty cool experience. It has a ton of features and settings. I love it, no issues so far and set up was extremely fast (I don’t have cable, I only use streaming stuff, so maybe that’s why). Slowest thing was downloading the LG app and making a profile, then connecting. Otherwise? Very fast and easy. ... show more

I absolutely love this TV. The LG C3 OLED has been an incredible upgrade for both watching TV and gaming. The picture quality is jaw-dropping with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible detail that make every scene and game look lifelike and immersive. Whether I’m streaming a show or playing a game, the experience is unmatched. I primarily use the TV with my Apple TV to bypass some of the more invasive data collection features built into smart TVs. This combination works seamlessly and lets me enjoy all the stunning visuals without worrying about privacy. As a gamer, I couldn’t be happier with the performance. The near-instantaneous response time and support for HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM make it perfect for gaming whether solo or couch co-op. Recently, I've been playing a lot of Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3, and the TV handles these games beautifully. The deep contrast and precise detail really bring these immersive worlds to life, making them even more enjoyable. While the LG C4 is slightly brighter, it has a noticeable off-axis color shift that is worse than the C3. For me, this makes the C3 the better choice overall, especially in a setup where viewing angles matter. The sleek design is another highlight.     • Amazing TV for my PS5 Pro

I was using a lower end TCL TV from 2020 for my PS5 which started acting up months ago. I told myself I wouldn’t get another budget TV again and went for this one during Black Friday. It’s honestly a night and day difference and is a little cheaper than the current C4. Everything about it has been amazing from the smart remote to the automatic switching to what just got powered on (4K Apple TV and PS5 Pro). My only complaint is that it doesn’t have an option to show you what the volume level is at which seems like a pretty basic feature. The speakers are pretty nice too and sometimes I don’t realize that my Sonos sound bar isn’t on until I notice the lack of bass. It’s a great “budget” OLED TV to pick up if you want vibrant visuals and is a great alternative to the slightly more pricey C4. ... show more
