It was to replace my Sony that was supposed to do all -it didn't. But this LG does!! The quality of picture on my TV also seemed to improve! Must have been a loose plug on the Sony. A bit complicated at first but like all things electronic, you quickly get the hang of it. I have a LG 3-d Google Smart TV and am a really serious film addict. Since many 3-d blu rays are not manufactured here multi-region problems arise for many films. Thus we have this LG multi region player. I am a long time LG fan and so when choosing my multi-player I went on my experience with my LG 3-d player and my LG television. It is simple once set up and operated a few times and this is nice. Qualify of picture, sound, and 3-d imaging is top notch! Such a thrill now to see favorite movies in 3-d from other Regions. I’m a happy camper! You will be also I’m betting. Again as I’m a dedicated LG consumer I like the cross actionable controls etc that I am already used to here keeping things simple.     • Great for those with 3D Blu-ray collections
After years of using my Playstations for 3D Blu-ray support, I upgraded to this unit for my home theater. This is a simple-to-use unit that provides great picture quality and fully supports multi-region discs including 3D movies. A great example is I had a region 2 copy of Terminator 2 that I could not watch on the Playstation but with a quick button press on the remote, it worked perfectly on this unit. ... show more

My other Lg 3D blu ray player BP730 broke, actually the Wi-Fi and the network port are not functioning and on this player it means if they are not working it won’t play anything Blu-ray or DVD but when I received this new Lg 3D player I was very upset, first off is the size it is real small, it looks to be the size of our old ones and all the normal ones, according to the pics but this is really small, second thing is there is only one tiny white light that is barely noticeable when it’s on or playing something, I could go on but this is a terrible machine, it has no graphics so you don’t ever know where you are on a disk so I’ve just decided to take my old machine to be fixed so that’s where I’m at right now ... show more

    • Great projector! Best bang for the buck in my opinion.
This is a great projector. I can't imagine getting anything better for the price (and I'm a home theater buff who researches projectors on a quarterly basis). Something I noticed right away that freaked me out was that the back of the projector has a DIN type connector labeled "3D". This is typically used for attaching an external 3d Synch transmitter so I immediately became concerned that the projector doesn't project 3D on its own (it does). I'm assuming there was a design change to put the 3D circuitry on-board but not remove the DIN connector or change the case (probably for cost considerations). ... show more

I had a mail from All Region World today 19th oct 2009, where all the problems connected to the shipping were straightened out - even a refund of the shippingcost was given. A mistake was done here in the shipping, - since I am a norwegian person with an american adress in New Jersey where a norwegian shippingcompany is located, which is not to ARW`s knowledge, but in the future they will keep their companyname as an underline if there is another co-company - this time: Bombay Electronics. The LG DVD blue-ray player is now released from american customs where the DVDplayer were kept onhold. So I can see that All Region World is a company you can absouletely trust and rely on.     • Buyer beware
LG All 3D Region Free Blu Ray Player is NOT Region Free as produced by LG, therefore the " region free " is a element added by a third party , (presumibly the company 220 ), sold through Amazon. I purchased same in June of 22 ( about 9 months ago. ) The issue is that the player does not now play any movie made by Lionsgate ! Other than that, all playback is normal. Called Amazon ,who directed me to contact 220 directly.Did that. After explaining that to the 220 rep, I got the " thats not my dept." routine , transfered , and got the " leave a message " routine. Amazon and co. talk about a 30 day return policy, but nothing about warrenties. ... show more
