I have hardwood floors and was looking for something to use when exercising for my knees and elbows especially, and this fits the bill. In comparison to your standard yoga mat, this is thick and soft. I have had it for about 2 years and it is still just as good as new.

The wider width is great. The thickness is excellent. Love the color. But if you are planning to hang, beware, the holder rings came out after a couple of uses. Luckily, I do not hang mine so it was ok. I did glue it back in place in case I do decide to hang at some point.

This mat provides support as well as allowing me to lay down and not have my feet or head off of the mat and on the floor. Bought 2 of these, 1 purple, 1 grey. Mat itself is fine, it has been great in sessions. The bag that they came in isn’t big enough to fit the mat back inside. On my fourth attempt to put my mat into the bag, the mesh on the bag tore. Going to get Velcro straps for them.
