The charger is working better than expected connected to a plug not directly hardwired with a 50 amp breaker. The app is also easy to use displays get information. My question when ordering this unit was the link of the charging cord it's right around 16 ft. It does come with good installation hardware and a charging head docking station. This works as designed and seems to work well. I like the added security of the app or RFID card to start the charging, no one can use your charger without it. Looks nice on the wall, used the smart life app wich I already use for my roll up garage doors and some lights. Get the full 32 amps charging on a dedicated 50 amp plug that was installed for an RV a while back. Not sure how it will hold up outside in Texas heat and rain but we will see after a while. Very happy so far for the price. Yes it will need the Tesla adapter for the Tesla owners. ... show more

Nice charger, easy to mount, attractive and most importantly: it does the job. Now for the bad: 1. I can't get it to deliver over 40a to any of my 3 EVs. 2. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to disable the need to use the RFID cards. 3. The "app" is a generic app lacking features and user friendliness. You need a 2.4ghz network to use it, 5Ghz won't cut it. If I hadn't already installed it I would consider a different charger. ... show more

This is a great charger! The price is right and the charger running for several hours has stayed very cool considering I was running at 40amps. The charger is a little larger than expected but that's fine. The cord for the charger is much thicker than I expected which is a good thing, and likely why everything ran so cool. Unfortunately, this wasn't the changer for me since the cord coming from the charger is 16 feet. For a one EV family that would be fine but for two EVs in a two-car garage it comes up short. ... show more

In my quest to find an efficient and cost-effective solution, I've tried out several Level 1 and 2 EV chargers and this is the winner out of all the ones Ive tried so far. One of the standout features of this EV Charger is its 48A capacity. With this level of output, it significantly outperforms standard Level 1 chargers, providing faster charging times and ensuring my EV is ready to go when I am. I’m using it to charge my Tesla Cybertruck and model Y. There's a lot of compact EV chargers available and I've evaluated my portion. Most don't precisely impart me with the certainty I really want to keep them in my trunk. I've seen jumper links that are more mechanically progressed than a considerable lot of the low end compact chargers I've run over. The links are really thick and appear to be of extraordinary quality. I've utilized this both at home and have even gone with it and utilized it at a momentary rental.
