I just put this charger up in my garage as you can it looks great . The charger is big but from the photo on Amazon it kinda looks small but that just fine it is well made and it looks very durable . I have used it once and it works great easy install with no problem. It came with two RFID card which was nice and easy to follow the direction . I hoping it last and work for a long my last charger only lasted a few months . So we shall see how long it last I review again in a few months but so far I am loving even my 7 yr daughter loves it . ... show more

The Level 2 EV Charger by Andeman, is a well-made, high performing charger, with all the features and capabilities you should need to keep your EV ready to go. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – The charger looks and feels like it’s well-made, with thick cables and a strong build. I have some that are a bit higher quality, but this one is definitely towards the top. I’d put the overall quality in the lower side of the upper tier of the quality scale for at hove EV chargers and guess that it should hold up well over time. II. Performance – This one has worked great in many ways, with a very high 40-amp ability that is adjustable to what you need. The screen is nice to have, providing helpful information, such as charging time, current, voltage, power used and battery. It has about every available feature with 12 safety features, Wi-Fi, RFID and app control. The 24-foot cable is on the longer end of what’s available and great to have if you can’t park next to the charger. Overall, this is a fantastic option that offers a high charging ability, with quality, convenience and basically every feature you can currently get, but isn’t portable. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Purchased this charger specifically since it was advertised as able to schedule charging sessions thru promoted app. I have a professional background in electronics, instrumentation, and technical commissioning. I’ve experienced inconsistent results with the app scheduling and may have to return for another brand if I cannot sort this. Got this on a whim because our original got friend when a transformer was hit by lightning. This is really well made, easy to install. Just get it in the wall and it plugs into a 240 plug. It's neat because it has an app to change the amperage and see all the nerdy stuff. To prevent unwanted use, they have these RFID cards that you can set to unlock it first. Charges really fast, but you have to be careful that you don't overload the circuit. Was able to get 30 miles from an hour. Definitely an upgrade. Can be used on any EV, but Tesla will need an adaptorit works great a d it is a definite upgrade from our original one. Great buy, highly recommend. ... show more

    • My second EV Charger from Andeman, good quality overall!

This is my second Andeman EV charger and I am very pleased with the quality of the build of the station. This station is only capable of outputting 40A as opposed to my other one that can output 48A. Compared to my first Andeman EV charger which is hard wired, this one includes a NEMA 14-50 plug that plugs into a household dryer outlet or a RV 14-50 outlet. The cable is very long at 25ft which makes it easy to reach far spaces. I have not had any problems with this charging station nor have I had issues with the first one I got. It works every time and I have no complaints. The charging station does have certifications, so hopefully they're legit but everything I've seen so far appears to be well made so I have no complaints. ... show more
