With mobile chargers especially at this level you're looking at the typical 5-15 / 6-20 plug, it would be nice to have a 5-20 that most garages have already but this is good if you're just trickling overnight or keeping it in your trunk just in case. At the level 1 you're not getting full 16A, so description is a little off, if you're using 5-15 you're limited to 15A so most you'll get is 12A for safety. If you're using the 6-20 plug then yeah you'll be at the 20A 220V side but you'll be limited to 16A for safety. Good to keep in your car if you find a socket that offers free power or if you just wanna charge like 40ish miles/night when using the 5-15. Overall good alternative to the official one the current price i see is $180 - $40 coupon you're paying $140 vs. $250 from tesla. ... show more

As travel chargers go, this one is outstanding. You get the charger with a washer dryer plug and an adapter for a regular household plug. For travel or even home use, this is outstanding and versatile. You also get a case, holders, a cap for the car charger tip. You also get smart functionality in such a small package?
