I was going for something with around 15x which was light weight, durable, illuminated and clear glass. This scope checks all those boxes and there are few others which I could say that about. I'm a big fan of keeping the reticle clean and easy and using the CDS dials for those longer shots. Typical quality, very clear, and great scope that you expect with Leupold. The only reason I knock it to 4 stars is getting the original sight in with the top CDS turret. After using the included Allen wrench to remove the top cap, it is very hard to adjust the turret the way it is designed. You can’t really check the tracking of the reticle without a tool because the metal digs into your fingers. You can turn it with fingers but you won’t turn it much. If using a tool it dampens the clicks you feel because they are not heard easily either. Great idea for the Custom Dial System to not have to use hold over just hard during initial sight in when trying different loads to see which one your gun likes the best. Once there, you’ll be money though with just a few clicks knowing the range. ... show more
