The table is definitely all stainless including the legs, tested with a magnet. It appears very sturdy and has supports on the table top and shelf. It was very easy to put together with one person. The only thing some folks may not like is you can see tiny dots on the top which to align with the weld spots for the braces. From afar they are hard to see but if you look they are visible. In one of my pictures I zoomed in on one of the dots. I did polish the table with stainless steel polish and the tiny dots still show. It’s not a game changer for me given what I’m using it for but it might be for some. The top also has two small blemishes toward one corner that are bigger than the tiny dots. They would probably bug me if this was going to be in my kitchen. As it stands now I’m happy with it. I actually bought two of these so I could make an “L” shape with them. The sides are straight, not rounded like some other tables so this should work perfectly. 4 stars due to the blemishes on the table top. ... show more

Overall, this table seems extremely sturdy and well-made. My husband is a handy guy. He assembled the table easily in about 15 minutes, without anyone helping him to steady and align pieces while he worked, and he said he had no trouble. The steel seems very heavy and sturdy, all of the joins are neatly finished, and he especially remarked on what great casters came with the table. Once assembled, the table is rock-solid and steady, but it's easy to roll around. I wasn't sure at which level I wanted him to install the lower shelf - there are two options - and he said that changing the position later will be easy and quick. My only issue is that, because of how the table components are packaged for shipping, the legs wore through the protective film and gouged the steel top of the table itself near all four corners. You can see in my photos that we haven't removed the film yet, but the scrapes go all the way into the finish of the steel surface. It doesn't impact the usefulness of the table, but it is a bummer to have the looks damaged right out of the box. A simple sheet of cardboard between the tabletop and the other components in the shipping carton would be a cheap, lightweight way to prevent this from happening to others. ... show more

As I was unpacking the parts, the first thing I noticed was the shocking quality of the casters. I knew they were good from the pictures, but in real life they are even better than I expected. The axles use a pair of sealed ball bearings for free rolling. I was expecting them to be dry-bore hubs. I'm not sure what the tires are made from. I think they are too hard to be urethane or rubber, but I'm just not sure beyond that. It uses fairly light, 22 gauge, stainless steel, but the spot welded ribbing keeps the structure fairly rigid. During assembly, I was a little frustrated that for an assembly with only 12 screws, they cheaped out on the quality of the button-head cap screws. They have a shallow socket, so the hex key (allen wrench) slips out rather easily during assembly. While this has no bearing on the final assembly, I did shout a few expletives at their engineers. As for the cart, I couldn't be happier. If it wasn't for specifically ordering this for the kitchen, I would absolutely be dragging this out to the garage/workshop to use out there instead. ... show more

I want to like this table more than I do. From a distance, it looks really nice. Unfortunately, it is packaged poorly, which left two scratches at each corner, where the wrapped legs rubbed through the very thin protective film....a total of 8 marks. The corners had the protective film cut out and you can clearly see a difference in the finish at the corners. In the light the top shows all of the spot welds of the underside cross beams. Hard to capture with a phone camera, but they are visible in person. The edges of the top, while folded under, are VERY sharp. Be careful during assemble and also if pulling the table instead of pushing once done. This table feels decently sturdy, but I don't know that I would consider it heavy duty. I ordered this for use in my workshop, but it looks good enough that it may end up in the kitchen as an extra food preparation space, its intended purpose. The table arrived in a flat box and very well protected with styrofoam sheets and lots of carboard corners, the worktop and shelf covered with a protective film (photo). There were a few rubs through the film (photo), but they just about disappeared with a few swipes of fine steel wool (photo). One-person assembly was simple, though it's best to leave the bolts slightly loose until the entire table is assembled so that everything squares up. A driver will speed up assembly, though it's pretty tight tolerances on the underside of the worktop and the included Allen wrench could be the best solution for those. I'm impressed by both the look and the solid feel of this table. It's very strong, easy to level completely with 4 built-in leg extenders, and the stainless steel is easy to wipe down and shine up, as one would expect from a food-prep table. Any edge of the table will hold my 200 pound weight without any flexing at all, and the plastic leveler tips keep it from sliding on the floor. This was ordered for use with tabletop tools. It would easily handle many times the weight of my lathe or even of my "lunchbox" thickness planer, and sits solidly enough on the floor to handle the vibrations from those tools. But I can see this as an unobtrusive and attractive addition to nearly any style of kitchen, or as a laundry room table for folding clothes, easy to keep clean and providing lots of extra work space and a storage shelf besides.
