  • Immaculate Refurbished Condition - Thinkpad Quality
Capacity: L14 | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Win 11 Pro
The Thinkpad I received was in functionally perfect condition. The body of the laptop had no scratches whatosever, the display had no scratches or defects like dead pixels, and the keyboard felt brand new with keycaps that were definitely unused and free of plastic wear or fingerprinting. The Ryzen 5 Pro 5675U benches nearly as well as an i7-8700K overclocked to 4.9 GHz in my testing, making this one heck of workhorse for the price. Gaming was also surprisingly good despite no dedicated graphics after I installed 32gb of RAM for an additional $40, then changed the VRAM in BIOS to 4GB. Genshin Impact ran at 1080p, 0.8 render scale, and medium settings with a comfortable 30 FPS. I was even able to play Armored Core 6 at 720p low to medium settings with a steady 30 FPS. Classic games and indies will be zero problem, as I've been playing Guild Wars on its highest settings at 1080p 120-200 FPS in most areas. The value here is incredible. You get a fairly powerful CPU for the form factor and price, and even some casual gaming capability, all for $320. I would suggest a RAM upgrade to 32GB, however, because the integrated Radeon graphics will dedicate some amount of the system RAM for itself. That brings the total to $360 in my case, which is still an incredible value for the system you're getting here. ... show more

  • Basically brand new
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
This review is for a T480s. I bought this to mess around with some Linux distros. I installed Pop!_OS and it runs flawlessly. These are refurbished computers, but you honestly wouldn't know that when you receive it. It is literally in brand new condition. If you're thinking about grabbing one of these to play around with Linux, do it. I couldn't be happier with it. ... show more

  • If i could give 0 stars, I would
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
When it arrived, I thought by the paperwork provided and reviews that the laptop would be in great condition working. I wasn’t using it so much in the first month or so after receiving it, but once I wanted to start using it for work and school, I noticed the battery would not stay charged for longer than 5–10 minutes unless constantly plugged into the charger. Some applications were also lagging when I tried operating. I waited some time but then when the problem became really persistent especially since I needed to use a laptop on daily basis for my job and school, I started a request for the seller to help me with the issue. I get a response that it is over the 90 day refund/replacement time frame (it was 5 days over when I put the request in) and that basically they can’t help me. I started contacting Amazon and multiple representatives started an A-Z claim, even though it was past the 90 days, I was told that I would be helped with the issue since the seller was not responsive. After a month of calling customer service, and being told that they understand my frustration and my issue would be fixed (I would get a return/refund), I’m now being told that Amazon can’t help me either. I am still currently trying to get my issue resolved with Amazon, but I would save your time and money and not buy from this seller. Almost $400 down the drain for a laptop that doesn’t function how a refurbished laptop should (I didn’t even get to talking about the cosmetic damages sticker cover up). I would strongly recommend saving up for a brand new laptop somewhere else if you are able to, because this will cause you issues (not far) down the line. ... show more

  • A lot of computer for the money
Capacity: L14 | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Win 11 Pro
CPU is speedy for the price, as promised. The relatively low power consumption is nice too, but don't expect this to sip power like an Intel N100 or N200. Of course, it is also much faster than an N100/N200. Having 16GB RAM is great, don't leave home without it. The 512GB SSD is also excellent at this price. The display contrast could be better, apparently it's IPS but it doesn't feel as sharp as my earlier Surface Laptop Go screen for instance. The case is plastic and you should keep in mind this isn't a svelte beauty queen of a machine, it was advertised fairly but I personally found its thickness to be an adjustment. On the other hand, a surprising number of parts are upgradeable. A nice change from everything soldered down and surface mounted. I'm running Debian Linux and it works perfectly, this is a big advantage of most Thinkpads if you're a Linux person. However battery life could be better, it's not a large battery, I get around 4 hours, much less if I'm in Google Meet with 4-5 people. I've ordered a larger battery from a third party seller. All in all very good for the price, just be aware of the dimensions, construction and "just decent" screen. ... show more

  • It's perfect for my budget!
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
I recently purchased this Lenovo ThinkPad T480s and I'm incredibly impressed. It's a significant upgrade from my previous laptop, offering a sturdy build and excellent performance. While there are a few minor cosmetic details, they don't impact the laptop's functionality. The battery works fine so far. The screen and keyboard are like new. ... show more
