  • Immaculate Refurbished Condition - Thinkpad Quality
Capacity: L14 | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Win 11 Pro
The Thinkpad I received was in functionally perfect condition. The body of the laptop had no scratches whatosever, the display had no scratches or defects like dead pixels, and the keyboard felt brand new with keycaps that were definitely unused and free of plastic wear or fingerprinting. The Ryzen 5 Pro 5675U benches nearly as well as an i7-8700K overclocked to 4.9 GHz in my testing, making this one heck of workhorse for the price. Gaming was also surprisingly good despite no dedicated graphics after I installed 32gb of RAM for an additional $40, then changed the VRAM in BIOS to 4GB. Genshin Impact ran at 1080p, 0.8 render scale, and medium settings with a comfortable 30 FPS. I was even able to play Armored Core 6 at 720p low to medium settings with a steady 30 FPS. Classic games and indies will be zero problem, as I've been playing Guild Wars on its highest settings at 1080p 120-200 FPS in most areas. The value here is incredible. You get a fairly powerful CPU for the form factor and price, and even some casual gaming capability, all for $320. I would suggest a RAM upgrade to 32GB, however, because the integrated Radeon graphics will dedicate some amount of the system RAM for itself. That brings the total to $360 in my case, which is still an incredible value for the system you're getting here. ... show more

  • Works great
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
I purchased this Lenovo Thinkpad T480 Laptop and so far I am very impressed. It is a renewed and tested item as the description states but to look at it you would never expect anything but that it’s brand new. The exterior has no scratches or signs of abuse at all. The screen is clean with no sign of neglect or abuse either. Included in the box was the charging cord and it looks new. Some of the features are: Screen 14 inches, touchscreen, great sound quality, headphone/Bluetooth compatibility, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, 1 USB 2.0 Port, works fast It offers several security options, fingerprint reader, PIN number , allows you to choose up to 3 security questions Laptop has Windows 10 Pro Operating System. Very easy and self explanatory when setting it up. I’m not very tech savvy so I was impressed at how easy and fast I was able to get thru the process. Considering it was a renewed item, I am super impressed and still was offered a warranty. ... show more

  • AWFUL PRODUCT!
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
Never works more than 10 minutes. Shuts itself off no matter how few programs I am running. Doesn't hold charge either. So bad.

  • A lot of computer for the money
Capacity: L14 | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Win 11 Pro
CPU is speedy for the price, as promised. The relatively low power consumption is nice too, but don't expect this to sip power like an Intel N100 or N200. Of course, it is also much faster than an N100/N200. Having 16GB RAM is great, don't leave home without it. The 512GB SSD is also excellent at this price. The display contrast could be better, apparently it's IPS but it doesn't feel as sharp as my earlier Surface Laptop Go screen for instance. The case is plastic and you should keep in mind this isn't a svelte beauty queen of a machine, it was advertised fairly but I personally found its thickness to be an adjustment. On the other hand, a surprising number of parts are upgradeable. A nice change from everything soldered down and surface mounted. I'm running Debian Linux and it works perfectly, this is a big advantage of most Thinkpads if you're a Linux person. However battery life could be better, it's not a large battery, I get around 4 hours, much less if I'm in Google Meet with 4-5 people. I've ordered a larger battery from a third party seller. All in all very good for the price, just be aware of the dimensions, construction and "just decent" screen. ... show more

  • Excelente producto y servicio
Capacity: 24GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
The product arrived in excellent condition (just as advertised), except for very minor details that are barely noticeable unless you look very closely. It was also very well wrapped to prevent any damage. Surprised and happy with the purchase and the product.

  • Be ready to test thoroughly - not really "refurbished" more like "used"
Capacity: T480s, 24GB RAM+512GB SSD Style: Win 10 Pro
Overall, fairly dcecent "refurbished" laptop for the price. I purchased one, and found that the laptop would not charge due to a faulty USB port. The port had an intermittent connection, and would charge if I put pressue on the connector (verified with another power adpater I had). So laptop one was returned and a replacement was sent. Once the second latop was received, everything looked good and initial testing was performed and everything seemed to work. One of the reasons I like the T480 is that it has a physical network port. I noticed that this port only functioned at 10Mb. I could never get it to negotiate to 1Gb. After looking at the port I noticed that the pins were bent and the outer pin would not making contact with the connector. I made a tool with a pin that was able to get under the pins and bend them to their proper position. After that work, the network port functioned properly, and no further issues were found. The one annoying issue I have with this "refurbished" laptop is that the refurb company installs a plastic covering on all of the visable surfaces of the laptop and it looks and feels horrible. In my mind this makes a "refurbished" laptop a "used" laptop with stickers all over it as basically that is what they put some big stickers all over it. I wish they had just left it alone. It has actually started pulling up around the ThinkPad" logo and keyboard. I am thinking of pulling it off, but have just gotten used to it at this point. In summary, at the price I purchased at, it is a reasonable laptop and allows me to install linux or windows and perform the work I need to get done. Be ready to thoroughly test the unit when it is received. If you are not able to do your own repairs, you may go through a few. I would consider this laptop to be "used" not "refurbished" which was disappointing. Update - After six months of use, I discovered that the thunderbolt chip had the bad firmware from lenovo which would make the unit not charge properly (the thunderbolt port handles charging as well), and throw errors about the charger being used. I was able to update the firmware and resolve the issue as well. Bottom line for me is refurbished computers from these companies are not worth the money for the average user. ... show more
