... show more

  • Disappointing
As beautiful as it is there is a serious issue with the motherboard. Crashes every ten minutes of use no matter what I do. I'll keep it as a scrap project to see if I can fix it at some point to give to my sibling, but for the amount of money I paid for this I expected it to actually work. Don't be fooled. ... show more

  • Not bad!
So far, so good. I love the 1TB SDD. Could be faster, but this is about what I expected for the price. Very slim. I use it for photo editing and astronomy.

  • Great Buy
I'm an HP girl but because of the price and parameters built into the computer, I decided to try the Lenovo. So far so good. The only issue I have had is when using the mousepad it is hard to grab the sidebar to move up and down, Otherwise, I have found it to be a good computer.

  • Integrity is KEY....
Laptop is great! Amazon Delivery superb as usual. But! Was very disappointed that the Microsoft 365 Family was not installed nor a subscription card included, yet it was paid for, therefore how am I to be compensated for not receiving a product I paid for? Is this the kind of society we have all become? Just steal from others because you can? It is so easy to be a character of very low morals, but to show the true greatness in what we all are, is the beginning of a great world! When you become a person that does the right thing, then the world reflects that of doing the right thing. ... show more

  • Computer died in 10 months
This laptop died 10 months after I purchased it. I am a college professor, the only person using it. Even though it is a laptop, it never left my desk. I am a very careful computer user and very picky about my office space and everything in it. I tried to contact the technical support number listed by Amazon. Dead link. I contacted Lenovo. They didn't want to honor the warranty, arguing that it was expired. I had to send them the invoice to prove the date of purchase. They then did some troubleshooting over the phone and concluded that I had to send them the device. In the labyrinthine instructions they sent me, one of the first things they said was to delete all sensitive information. How would you do that on a dead computer? Conclusion, got a new device and tossed this piece of junk. Buy at your own risk. You can do much better with competing brands. I tried to give Lenovo a shot with this purchase and it was a fiasco. I went back to safe zone. ... show more

  • Do not buy this laptop. Fell apart sitting on a desk after three months.
I bought this laptop to use for work. It was functioning fine. It would freeze sometimes, but overall I initially considered a great value for a budget laptop. I largely kept it on my desk and used it for typing and office work. Never dropped or damaged it. Then, around the three month mark, the bottom left front corner of the screen started to become unglued and repeatedly needed to be snapped back into place. Over the course of a week, this deteriorated to whole bottom left hinge detaching. I had not purchased the accidental damage warranty because it cost half as much as the laptop itself. When I reached out to Lenovo and explained that I had purchased the laptop three months earlier on Amazon, they considered it physical/accidental damage (not covered by my standard warranty) and I would need to pay for the repair. I told them there was no way this was physical damage, and it had to be a defect with laptop because it just sits on a desk and its only been in use for three months. But no luck. Now, I am pricing repairs and possibly buying a new laptop. I will definitely not buy a Lenovo laptop again. ... show more
